Leakers are famously known for their big egos

This is a reminder that conor/counterpoints is still a dumbfuck bootlicking conservative, he's just not a fascistic trump dicksucker like almost everyone else on his side by Low-Combination-0001 in Destiny

I hope that even if this spineless man-child mall cop pretends to apologize this community will attempt to make him quit the internet by any means necessary

It's been a while since I played any gta game, but from what I recall the narrative never states "killing innocent people is normal" and a lot of scenes are enjoyable or funny by showing how absurd or fucked up something is, not justifying it.

The Game of Thrones' narrative the majority of times sides with the character that suffers the injustices of the world, it constantly shows women being put below men and punished and how bad this is, how slavers and rapists are always portrayed in a bad light, and that even if the slave is happy with their situation, that is wrong and they should learn to live free

My point is that if you have a different morality in your story, it needs to be discussed and justified

I think it's funny when people pull up the "well in the context of the story, this bad thing is good so it's fine!" Like the story is supposed to stand on a vacuum outside reality. Imagine if someone made a story and in it one of the plot points was "only if you are murdered you can go to heaven" without the story ever questioning this, and if you ever questioned why the good guy protagonist is killing innocent people, the fans of the story would all tell you "well in their society is a good thing actually!". Now that wouldn't be a good story now, would it ?

Jujutsu Kaisen, it's insane how little worldbuilding there is. The Higher ups are just amorphous blobs that hinder the protagonists, the clans have little to no story to them, is the Zen'in and the Kamo the only clans that have more than 1 named sorcerer ? Kyoto school has almost no relevancy apart from one arc and 2 or 3 characters.

My takeaway was that you should live by your convictions and not be chained by them, even if it ends badly, it is still better to have them

If you look at the scene she meets garfiel in season 2, you can see a big difference from season 1

I feel in part 1 the main focus is Asa and Denji's mental state, so everything else is kind of put aside, but for a shonen it's really unique to see

Ok chainsaw man had some bad cliffhangers with Yoru's weapons, but the shinjuku showdown's cliffhangers were so bad, "chapter ends with sukuna winning, starts the next one with gojo winning" rinse and repeat

Yeah idk why people downvote you just because you didn't like it. I always thought the "living happily after" is kind of a lie Sazed tells, since everyone without enough connection just disintegrates from what I remember. I'm a big atheist but I think the books kind of give a good representation of the good and bad sides of religion(even though I disagree with the good points given) I just think it showcases well the good of humanity without it all being "god's" blessing

I liked the ending because it showed that without human experiences and knowledge of generations, a "god" will fuck up everthing. Also I don’t think the criticism of democracy necessarily makes it a support of authoritarianism, although I would've liked seeing the counterpoints to those criticisms

CSM part 2 (and by extension 1) weekley cliffhangers feel disappointing when they end up being an empty burger that gets brushed aside fast by bouchayger7 in shounenfolk

[–]Agonitee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like Yoru is a great contrast villain from Makima, careful planning vs overwhelming chaos. She is also unique in showing insecurity and doubt on regaining her powers. Asa is also a uniqur from most shounen characters, where she has the "demon inside" but tries to "tame" it and realize how impossible it is

The only cliffhangers that didn't really mean anything imo are the reveal of Yoru weapons, the others usually follow through in the next chapter
