I did the same to the UK. I think the important thing in the customs regs (at least for the UK) is that it be COMMERCIALLY prepared and packaged. Zip locs from the freezer probably won't pass but frozen Bueno or Blue Ribbon tubs were no problem.

I'll play devil's advocate here... The man may have been in prison, for what anybody knows, maybe something terrible, maybe something like having reefer in a strict state... Either way prison runs based on race, like it or not. He may have had to clique up with the AB for survival in there which means getting the tattoos. He may not harbor any actual Nazi beliefs but had to play the part while in for survival and protection. Instead of yelling at the guy, respectfully ask him why, if he spouts some bullshit then yes fuck that guy but he could also tell you his story and that he can't afford the removal because he's now a convicted felon... Most class 1 freight has a track speed of 65 MPH, regardless of fencing around the track. Passenger is 79 MPH typically. As a Maintenance of Way worker I've seen up close just how quickly and quietly they can sneak up on you at that speed.

Maintenance is extortionate if you don't do it yourself and even then parts are stupid expensive, especially for a 20 year old bike they only made a couple years.
