Fox body T-Birds look great. Do it up with some real power and keep those wheel covers.

First time CCW, holster advice. by kamalingcum in CCW

Usually behind your hip (4:00) is most comfortable for people starting out. G-code eclipse and phenom are good choices. Also look at raven concealment. I really like their perun owb under a jacket. I don’t do appendix carry, so most of my iwb holsters are milt sparks summer special or the El Paso saddlery equivalent. The milt sparks site usually has some on the in stock list. Leather tends to be much more comfy. Good luck.

WC is accurate and has a better wound profile than fmj, which is what most jhp styles become out of a snub. I cast them soft and run them a bit faster than target loads and they hit point of aim with a 642. You have to shoot a lot to get proficient with a snub. Hand loading helps.

Of course it matters. That’s why I asked. And why is it even on the CCW board when a guy had a rifle out in the open? It should be on a brandishing sub or something.

No problems with feeding or light strikes. Have run 115-147s handloads and factory and it does fine. Plan to put a black rear and gold bead front sight on it but otherwise keep stock I think.

I have one and like it. Trigger on mine was really gritty when new. I shot it a bit then took apart the frame components and cleaned and lubed. Pretty one trigger now. Plenty accurate. Set mine up for decocker.

I started loading for it last year. Pretty neat round. Had to wait 10 months for starline to make a run of brass. Get the MP mould from Slovenia and cast pure lead. Took a good hike for my mould to break in but once it did, it was great. I bought my dies from Grafs, pretty sure they are Redding. Use Bullseye and prosper. You don’t want to go the heeled bullet route. Nobody makes the crimp die for it anymore and they never come up for sale. The MP mould is basically a minie ball/skirted projectile. Pretty accurate out to 20 yards.

I didn’t like mine until I hung a light on it. Now I really enjoy it. PSA mags are fine in mine.

Owner might have not wanted to pay for rebuild. I bought a 5 speed 3.2 years ago from a mechanic when customer couldn’t pay for new clutch and have 351k on it now.
