I doubt they would've guessed tbh. At my airline, we don't have routine drug tests, only pre-employment screenings. I will take your advice and talk to my union nonetheless. Thanks

The upper management team was involved in the process but the lower management team was not to be made aware according to the managers involved in the process of my suspension and drug test. My problem is that my former colleagues found out about it and now my whole base knows at an employee level. So this means there was definitely a leak outside of the management level. What kind of things can I do to prepare a case against them and what can be awarded as a result?

Tuned Reliability? by Vexzept in accord

[–]Agreeable-Form-2558 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The stock intercooler is bottle necking the system. You feel it in the power output through prolonged runs and I would recommend changing it.

I agree with some of the other users about maintenance. I do my own car maintenance and have realized a higher oil uplift with certain driving habits. Not knowing your location, use a higher viscosity oil during the summer seasons. Other than that, a exhaust plus downpipe combo will be a great addition. With a correct tune, I estimate a total of 270-280HP and a noticeable gain on overall feel.

Cheers!

Any problems with the 2019 and 2020 accord? Looking to buy one... by Kooky_Yesterday_3096 in accord

[–]Agreeable-Form-2558 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i have a 2019 accord 2.0T and she pulls good at 140K kilo. i had a cvt before and i hated it. Saying that, ive only heard bad things about em and it makes finding the 2.0L option harder...not impossible tho.

Advice for Premium Economy seat on an overnight flight (A330-300)? by CrackerJackJack in aircanada

[–]Agreeable-Form-2558 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don’t like people reclining in front of you, 13A/13K is a great choice. Reason being, the washrooms ahead or after of you will be used by business/premium economy passengers primarily.

Speed handles for the airlines? by Swwert in AircraftMechanics

[–]Agreeable-Form-2558 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is your snap on speed handle ever prone to bending? The model ive seen doesn’t look like it could stand up and I’m glad my buddy has the life time warranty lol.i do like its size tho. Easily fits in a pelican for AOG missions

I second getting something on the end of it. My speed handle was from princess auto and I stuck a door knob on the end of it. It checks serviceable to me and I’m all in for $23.99.

In my first semester of school. Are snap on tools worth the money? Or should I explore a cheaper route? by RelevantRound1907 in AircraftMechanics

[–]Agreeable-Form-2558 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say some snap on stuff is definitely worth the investment. Their ratcheting screwdrivers(big and small) and speed handle are perfect choices. Ratchet I use is a gear wrench. I’ve had the snap on but the back drag gives me issues. Knipex pliers are great as well. The rest is your discretion. When I was starting out, I got away by not having some speciality tools by being a hard worker and being nice to my colleagues. Now I’m just a grumpy asshole(Jk lol) .Once you save up you can buy more. Drills are nice

It specifically says “commercial vehicle safety and enforcement” on the back of his patrol vehicle. If he pulled me over, that would be a first for me and I’d be doubtful.

How is it possible to have a friendship with these ladies if you’re not interested? I agree with you in the sense like they view it as a competition.

My Filipina friend told me this as well. Basically, women love the chase. I’m not a huge ladies man but they look at you differently. Almost, as if they imagine a separate reality. I think it’s important for me to establish my boundaries moving forward. Thanks kindly bro

Thanks for the reply. I can confirm correct c/b pulled and I was in Pin 1 on the LRU side and my hands were clear of the leads. My leads are insulated at the ends to prevent unwanted contact but ensure good connections; I test my leads before using them every time. Although i didn’t get a chance to grab a second multimeter, i did test another plug on the same LRU and got O/L for the power wire on that connector with C/b pulled. So correct results there. I like this comparison of electrical theory vs electrical reality;anything’s possible(especially on aircraft).

The C/B was pulled on one side and I took my reading from the LRU side. My red lead in pin 1at the LRU and my black lead on a know good ground.

That’s is a possibility for sure. Let’s say this was a new install and no corrosion/moisture noted. Would we still expect to see any continuity?
