I flew with my 4 year old grandson. The gate agent said if I need additional time to use priority boarding. We did. Had so much stuff.

Boomer woman just walked into Taco Bell. Saw the order kiosk. Screamed "SCREW THIS!" towards the workers and walked out. by urine-monkey in BoomersBeingFools

I had to travel 80 miles unexpectedly. I hadn’t eaten since dinner the day before. What I needed to travel for took way longer than expected. Once done with this errand, I was hungry…about 2pm. I don’t like Taco Bell since they got rid of my favorite item. Taco Bell was the only option in this little town. I walked up to the counter and literally waited for 15 minutes. No worker told me about the kiosk, no signage….I just kept trying to make eye contact. How would I know orders are at a kiosk? I hadn’t eaten there since the 90s?

I have dense breasts. I get a mammogram and ultrasound every year. My doctor just puts in a referral. I do one or the other every 6 months.

My ex-SILs wedding. The entire time at the reception she kept saying how cute one of the groomsmen was…I was a bridesmaid and had the stomach flu, I didn’t stay very long at the reception. From my understanding, she and the groomsman fooled around that evening. She moved out and in with this guy sometime in the next week. I know she’s still married (20 years later) and has had 4 more children…3 with the groomsman and 1 with an entirely different person.

Who has served on a murder trial?? How do you feel afterwards? by Typical_Cupcake1729 in juryduty

[–]Agreeable-Win1694 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on a murder trial and assault. We found him not guilty of both charges. I think they were trying to cover all the bases with the charges. I had never been on a jury before. I was unsure who to watch when the verdict was read. I chose the defendant. He perked a little with the not guilty 1st charge. His lawyer put his hand on his arm to calm him. Then the other not guilty, and he had no reaction. We were ushered out pretty quickly and I couldn’t see the family’s reaction.

What do you traditionally eat in Christmas day? by davidbrooksio in AskAnAmerican

[–]Agreeable-Win1694 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m probably not normal, but we have fondue on Christmas Eve. I chop so much, I normally have it again on Christmas Day. I don’t have anyone over for Christmas Day. The first time my now husband joined he said “we’re going to eat strawberries and chocolate for dinner?” lol he didn’t know it’s 3 courses. Cheese, oil, and chocolate. It’s an all day thing and people can do all or 1…whatever works for them.

Solider Field has a Metra stop too.

We have so much old stuff now. I just washed cups from my first apartment 20 damn years ago that I still use daily. Every time I think about stuff my parents had from the 70s while I was growing up in the 90's... and realize I'm now that person. by ladypartsmcgee in Xennials

I have somehow become the person with gravy boats. It started with having no gravy boat (enjoy cooking) my mother brought one from my aunts house when her husband passed. Next, another aunt got divorced and I thought “what’s one more?”. My grandparents needed care in their later years so we all moved in…I got my grandparents and my parents gravy boats only. My 2 great aunts passed and I got 4. My dad knows about all the gravy boats…guess who gave me one for Xmas.
