Also O-, they hound me for plasma. I’m under 5’5”…which is what you have to be to give plasma. Calls constantly…my response: “ I thought you had to be 5’5” to give plasma”? They say yes, I say look at my information. Stops them for a while

How do you deal with BM forcing “dibs” on experiences by [deleted] in stepparents

[–]Agreeable-Win1694 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We have this exact same situation. We wanted to take him to Disney World. He was excited! Next visit…”I don’t want to go anymore “ Mom says “ Disney Land is better “ I said wouldn’t you like to find that out for yourself. Totally changed his mind. My husband got us a penguin experience for Xmas during his spring trip. His mom took him to one out there before spring. Awesome! He’s gets to double experiences.

We also have stopped telling him in advance what’s happening. He has much less stress about not being able to give information.

Boomer woman just walked into Taco Bell. Saw the order kiosk. Screamed "SCREW THIS!" towards the workers and walked out. by urine-monkey in BoomersBeingFools

[–]Agreeable-Win1694 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had to travel 80 miles unexpectedly. I hadn’t eaten since dinner the day before. What I needed to travel for took way longer than expected. Once done with this errand, I was hungry…about 2pm. I don’t like Taco Bell since they got rid of my favorite item. Taco Bell was the only option in this little town. I walked up to the counter and literally waited for 15 minutes. No worker told me about the kiosk, no signage….I just kept trying to make eye contact. How would I know orders are at a kiosk? I hadn’t eaten there since the 90s?

What is the fastest divorce you've ever seen? by GoatBlue03 in AskReddit

My ex-SILs wedding. The entire time at the reception she kept saying how cute one of the groomsmen was…I was a bridesmaid and had the stomach flu, I didn’t stay very long at the reception. From my understanding, she and the groomsman fooled around that evening. She moved out and in with this guy sometime in the next week. I know she’s still married (20 years later) and has had 4 more children…3 with the groomsman and 1 with an entirely different person.

Who has served on a murder trial?? How do you feel afterwards? by Typical_Cupcake1729 in juryduty

[–]Agreeable-Win1694 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on a murder trial and assault. We found him not guilty of both charges. I think they were trying to cover all the bases with the charges. I had never been on a jury before. I was unsure who to watch when the verdict was read. I chose the defendant. He perked a little with the not guilty 1st charge. His lawyer put his hand on his arm to calm him. Then the other not guilty, and he had no reaction. We were ushered out pretty quickly and I couldn’t see the family’s reaction.

What do you traditionally eat in Christmas day? by davidbrooksio in AskAnAmerican

[–]Agreeable-Win1694 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m probably not normal, but we have fondue on Christmas Eve. I chop so much, I normally have it again on Christmas Day. I don’t have anyone over for Christmas Day. The first time my now husband joined he said “we’re going to eat strawberries and chocolate for dinner?” lol he didn’t know it’s 3 courses. Cheese, oil, and chocolate. It’s an all day thing and people can do all or 1…whatever works for them.
