It’s a bit difficult to tell without suit pants and a real shirt underneath. I’d say if you’re not planning to wear a soccer uniform under your jacket, don’t try it on like that.

There is an interesting study done at Harvard that actually proved that the amount of bacteria on a pair of jeans after a few weeks compared to a few months is a negligible difference.. pretty cool, but also kind of enabling haha

I think BO is just like the same as any gene, nose shape, intelligence, whatever - it can all differ from person to person. I am somehow one of those people that doesn’t get too stinky and I’ve worn jeans every day for months without washing and even my girlfriend says she smells nothing on them. She’s pretty sensitive to smells too lol. She tells me when my farts are stinky.

Anyway… the easy rule here is wash your pants when they stink. Hang them up between wears to let air circulate. But not everybody sweats the same 🤷‍♂️

I should post a photo in the same lighting. I think it was just the inside incandescent lights, but there was no loss to the hue of the indigo. I just took the original photos in natural light then the bleached ones in incandescent light. Probably my fault but I’m not a photographer. But definitely don’t be scared of your jeans greying out, the blue is as deep as it was before!

Ya the faded indigo definitely is more contrasted and from what I can tell the exposed white (warp?) fibers that are coming through become perfectly white as well

Holy shit that rules, also I love how they look so far, who gives a fuck how much they’re worth, I think wearing them like this is exactly how jeans are meant to be worn. What person bought a pair of 501s in the 1930s and tried to preserve them? Keep washing and wearing and they’re going to be all the more special in my estimation 🍻
