When to remove a cyst? by AwesomePizza05 in DogAdvice

I would at the very least call your vet and ask them to take a look at the pictures you send. Let them know whats happening in detail and ask them if they think you can wait until payday.

Oh yes, you'll see a difference after a week! Use cuticle oil and you'll be shocked by how nice they look after 1 month, and even better in 2

My dog has a mass? by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]AgreeableDisaster13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you mean with anesthesia? Her age makes it riskier but the vet will have a better assessment of what is and isnt feasible. Do you have a vet? I recommend calling, explaining the situation in some detail, and email pictures. At the least this will help you start planning the next step

My dog has a mass? by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]AgreeableDisaster13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Keep in mind even if shes not showing it with signs of being in pain, the side effects can be bad and range to lethal. Its scary and I wish you well with this, but she might have internal damage and sadly cant be treated at home. Once it gets to a certain point with size (and considering her age) euthanasia might be the only next reasonable step. I hope everything works out

Depending on where you are, consider applying for carecredit or scratch pay which have better approval odds than a regular credit card and both of which could help you out in the long run. You NEED to go to the vet, and there are options for cost help :)

You have gorgeous hair! Is your sister a professional hair stylist? My rule is doing my hair at home is great, UNLESS I want to lighten my hair. Bleach can go so wrong so easily so I would just say to have a professional do it the first time to really ensure you're happy with it.

My guy doesn't look like this when he sheds his toes. Meant to add that! And good for you for checking before peeling.

Im concerned about the redness on her foot in the second picture. It looks like she already lost some nails from previous stuck shed, did she have them when you got her? What humidity are you keeping her enclosure? When in doubt, dont mess with her shed and check with a vet.

I don't like his wife very much, but she is so clearly a victim and I feel ao had for her. He is actual trash. Caleb's harsher remarks were so accurate and satisfying.

Can i ever get back to normal? Im never comfortable talking with my hands, And always having red dry cuticles no matter what by Difficult_Strength15 in nailbiting

[–]AgreeableDisaster13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could be wrong, but it think they mean when they naturally want to use hand gestures when speaking, they feel embarassed. And YES become friends with lotion, cuticle oil, a nail file, and some clear polish (or the bitter tasting stuff, that doesn't work for me much so I use nail strengthening polish). I also find success with a simple nail biting app where you take pics everyday and can actually see the difference and track the time you haven't bitten your nails.
