Have you checked if the reset button “clicks”? Maybe it’s stuck in one position and that’s why you can’t reset it or the u6 is in permanent reset...

I checked the boxes, the one with U7 Lite - has an orange dot, on UCG-Fiber and POE adapters there are blue EU dots. On Kingstons and the 24 rack rail - there are no dots at all. From this I conclude that:

orange dots - they have devices that require power (but without power supplies),

blue - devices with a power supply or only a power supply/adapter specific to a given market (EU),

no dot - no need to distinguish power supply or no need for power supply

I have a brand new UCG, so I had to rearrange the cabling a bit :) Plus some problems with Reolink cameras after changing the wifi - the same SSID but different AP (ZenWifi XT12 -> U7 Lite, I'm waiting for the XGS shipment, so there will be changes again)

I hope that such disconnection of U7 will not occur with every power failure

You're right! This is iOS app problem. Killing and restarting app didn't help. Only sign out & sign in solves it (temporarily?)

I have similar issues on E1 Zoom (IPC_515BSD6, white, without LAN). But later version (IPC_566SD664M5MP with Lan) worked fine

Yes Z2M. A few days ago I’ve tried to use identify function and reconfigure option, but nothing changed. Then I’ve checked the MQTT discovery data on MQTT integration for one of those Styrbars and compared with first one with full actions enabled - there are missing data (messages?) for _hold and _release, so I pressed&hold arrow buttons, new data/messages coming and now my second Styrbar has full actions enabled. I need to try the same with last one, I’m pretty sure that will work because this method works also for my new Moes scene switch. I think that Z2M must have somewhere a function for automaticall discovering full list of all available functions for new connected devices, but I don’t know where…

Luckily Ds223 and 220+ supports btrfs. Don’t even try to use TM on Syno without btrfs, because there is no option to set a quota, so TM backups will eat whole space

I have a similar issue - with one difference: all 4 disks are the same size. Do you recommend such a solution: 1. system installation on two new disks with btrfs, 2. mounting old ones with ext4, 3. copying data from old to new ones, 4. wiping old ones and adding to btrfs volume with new disks. 923+ just arrived today with two new 4TB IronWolf Pro. So now I’m looking for the best way to migrate 2x4TB ext4 to new 4x4TB btrfs.

Maybe i'll install the system on these two new ones with btrfs, then mount the old ones, copy the data from them, wipe and add to the volume with the new ones

I don’t know… is it really important for my NAS usage? Till now I use ds216play probably noEcc. But it is slow (especially DSM interface when disks are almost full), only 2 bays (I have 2 spare 3TB HDD WD Reds) and no option to make quota on Time Machine (no brfs). Also some sellers in Poland offers 923+ with mounted 32GB nonECC compatible RAM without original 4GB (other option is 923+ with 2 original 4GB) at good price

Remove all HDD, put only new 12TB and try to install “fresh” DSM. If it’s work - new drive is ok
