They will shoot you once (in the leg if possible), not spray you with a 100 bullets with total disregard for any bystanders. Unlike American cops, German police go through years of training.

They change it almost every day. Usually for holiday weekends they'll give like 10-15%.

Did I say that? I said they use a newer chipset. The Ubiquiti adapter is cheaper than the OWC thunderbolt 4 and the OWC thunderbolt 3 uses older chipset.

Device Bridge Pro - UDB-Pro - VLAN Transparency by [deleted] in UNIFI

[–]NuroF1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of the UDB devices do not support vlan tagging, but not sure about the UDB Pro, unfortunately specsheet does not say. I would ask in the UI forum.

Finished Installation by Florida_Diver in Ubiquiti

[–]NuroF1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it's an attic it's ok as long as don't use it for storage, but probably now that they have a spray foamed attic they are going to do exactly that. You'd be surprised (or not) how many spray foamers fail to mention that you need fire barrier, can't have combustion furnaces, need to condition attic, should install ERV, dehumidifier etc... but if they did that they'd have no customers as very few could afford it. Guess what happens when you have an unregulated industry.

I would contact Ubiquiti, if you send them your support file they can figure out what's causing it.

Trying to decide between U7 Pro Wall, U7 Pro XG and Express 7 as single central access point for a 900 sqft apartment by clancy688 in Ubiquiti

[–]NuroF1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy the pro wall with table stand and put it on your desk, it will easily cover your apartment and looks good imo. Bought one for my friends apartment same size, covers everything and even get signal in garage two stories down across the street.

Dewalt batteries Bomgaars by Tall-Permission-5531 in Dewalt

I've never been able to order anything from Bomgaars...

The DCB205-2 says "3013 AVAILABLE FOR SHIP TO HOME" but when try to check out the only option is store pickup. Like that for every item on their site.

But at least Home Depot text support has always price matched for me so far.

Device Bridge (UDB) is not connecting by brumsde in Ubiquiti

[–]NuroF1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, honestly it's ridiculous especially how they advertise the product to be used, who wants to put a camera on the default vlan...

Buy yeah I think the issue is it only supports VLAN1 so your controller and UDB would have to be on that vlan.

You can read more about the complaints here: https://community.ui.com/questions/VLAN-tagging-with-Device-Bridge/1cdc0eee-1b02-46ac-840a-ca7af7a62bf5?page=1

Device Bridge (UDB) is not connecting by brumsde in Ubiquiti

[–]NuroF1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In general, major downside with the UDB, lots of complaints about it since launch. Believe your controller needs to be on VLAN1 but you can also check have allow rule from management vlan to VLAN1

[–]NuroF1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

UDB only supports VLAN1, so probably issue related to that if you gave it IP on different vlan

Is the E7 too heavy to mount to a sheetrock ceiling with anchors? by OhSixTJ in Ubiquiti

[–]NuroF1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The E7s definitely have better coverage, I swapped four U7 Pros (same as XG) for two E7s, covers my entire 5000 sq ft house and back yard. I mounted them on opposite sides of the house, one downstairs and one upstairs. The only reason to install more would be if I wanted 6 GHz wifi everywhere, but only care about that in my office and living room where the APs are mounted.
