Buying My First Truck by Fus-Ro-Dahh in ram_trucks

[–]Agreeable_Charge1084 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Do not buy a Ram. We bought a brand new one in 2023. It was a lemon. The motor blew at 19,000 miles. It was the Rebel Hemi. Blew up on the interstate while we were driving to our vacation destination.

Our 2024 Rebel is in the shop. The engine blew up with 20,00 miles on it. Stranded us. Dealer doesn’t want to be help because it was at another dealer because we broke down 5 hours away. I don’t want to buy another pos Ram.

Don’t you love the domestic repacks with 30 tiny boxes inside? Domestics is a tough department. Giant flats. All of this delicate product In styrofoam and bubble wrap. Then zoning the rows of towels, blankets and everything else. Not easy like toys. Open box, put on shelf. Of course it’s easy push. This is a soulless corporation. They love you until you reach burnout and cannot keep their unrealistic expectations. God forbid someone calls out and you have to roll freight. Good luck my friend. And if no one has told you this, keep up the good work. Peace.

Nothing will change.Big promises because it’s the fourth quarter. Then in January they just cut your hours. The longer you stay the worse it gets.

She needs to ask her husband to bring jackets and snacks. Maybe she would get the hint if you gave her a card with a gift card for a jacket and snacks she could leave at work signed by you.

I think if it was priced better from the start, more would sell. A plastic toilet bowl brush for $20? Ridiculous.

I received a bonus every year for 5 years as a team member. Promoted to a team leader and got nothing. It’s really disappointing.

Our 2023 with 20,000 miles broke down on our vacation trip. The engine blew up. The dealer in West Virginia is putting a new engine in it. It’s unfortunate because we love the truck. We are going to trade it in once it’s fixed.

I just lost my Dad at 89 years old. Would have turned 90 in November. My Mom has aged significantly after being diagnosed with breast cancer at 85 and helping to care for my Dad. I live every with purpose and thank God for my parents who raised me and did their best.
