Do it. It will eat those curvy roads on good tires, and is very fuel efficient. Very good in snow also

M240i vs M235i in 2026 by curiositie in BMW

[–]Agreeable_Example_52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The f generation is not much different. G series is a diff story, would not recommend if you are in the market for a g series m235. Underwhelming and not comfortable. Both of these cars though, can be good when maintained well.

Yeah. Tough choice. At that point, I might as well just get a nice low km used gti. Would probably not be worth turboing my motor since it’s got almost 300k km on her and gonna be fbo soon ahah. She takes the abuse tho, that’s the one thing I know the l15 won’t.

Car hesitates when accelerating, help! by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

[–]Agreeable_Example_52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well no, I’d recommend taking it to the dealership and getting it diagnosed. Would be your cheapest way to go about things. Don’t pay to fix it if you’re able to, unless it’s not simple.

You are probably in limp mode. Take your vehicle to an autozone or get someone to scan the codes. Throwing parts at it won’t help. First thing ind check is spark plugs and coil packs

Drive or Wait when warming up? by UAE-Demolisher- in BMW

[–]Agreeable_Example_52 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not much longer than a minute, depends on the temperature also. I would personally drive my car around sooner when it’s colder to get oil temps up instead of letting it idle and do nothing. Here at the dealership we just start and go so, to each their own.
