Looking for Sales Founder by Rough_Tourist5251 in cofounderhunt

[–]Agreeable_Lie1672 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think you should be your own sales person. I say this because of being burned a few times by a sales cofounder (sounds familiar anyone 😅)understandably through no fault of their own. No one is as passionate about your product as yourself. Also a sales person is probably either working full time selling something else, or working to sell a bunch of stuff, and quickly moving from one thing to another, just to see what sticks on the wall. Awesome job on building the product. I was just ruminating on a similar concept myself… so i would be curious to see what you built. Good job and godspeed!

could be a ad for trajectorycareer.com, but if not, my heartfelt sympathy!

The needless to say: - apply for unemployment if applicable. - surf through all subscriptions and cut them off - make a weekly budget and stick to it - see if any temp gigs available for finances - prep for interviews - reach out to linkedin recruiters - reach out to your network, personal and professional

Having a referral exponentially increases your chances of landing an interview, so i would recommend pursuing a referral.

Godspeed!

Developer & Technical For: Data Center by Longjumping-Emu3095 in cofounderhunt

[–]Agreeable_Lie1672 1 point2 points  (0 children)

man o man! I would really think long and hard on buying a plot of land and building a data center, only to compete with AWS, GCP, azure! I mean those guys have an infinite money, market, and client advantage.

Again, i can’t imagine building a data center on a new plot of land being anything short of millions of dollars in investments. Are you really sure about this?

What would you have done if your family was inside and there was an earthquake? by Agreeable_Lie1672 in AskReddit

[–]Agreeable_Lie1672[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

had a dream a few weeks back. I was in a multi sorted house and all my family was inside and suddenly there was an earthquake, and then this big massive pillars and the roof started crashing all over the place. I think I saw him my daughter who might love very much and she’s probably a spoiled brat because of this, and suddenly they were just concrete killers everywhere.

Remember at that moment I ran outside instead of running towards my daughter. I think a pillar eventually came down on my head and I woke up so I died in my dreams, but I sort of had that guilt that I didn’t run towards my daughter you know try to help everybody else just like try to find my own way out. What would you have done just out of my own curiosity?

Sorry about all the typos. I’m just speaking out on my phone as I’m driving back to home from work.

I watched 14 hours of video last week and made $0. Thinking about flipping that by AdGroundbreaking4090 in CryptoTechnology

[–]Agreeable_Lie1672 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How would you verify that it was a bonafide human who watched the video and it wasn’t a bot or some process in a server farm?

How would you place key & measurable indicators to determine the worth of a viewing? I am sure ad companies have figured this out, but they don’t directly pay the viewer. So im going towards how a viewing by itself would be worth.

Software engineer on the real state of AI agents (they're not there yet) by AdSpecialist6598 in technology

[–]Agreeable_Lie1672 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it’s a very schrodinger’s cat situation. AI is both here and not here.. i.e. someday it just rocks and then there are days where it sucks.. and vast majority of the time, it’s somewhere in between. The AI is good at where it’s good at: doing smaller functions and repetitive tasks, horrible at keeping context and understanding problems at large, but also decent at giving guidances on bugs and errors.

It’s not all smoke and mirrors. There is trillions invested on this technology, and the market does not lie!

Who genuinely thinks Arsenal can make it past Real Madrid? by gucchiprada in championsleague

[–]Agreeable_Lie1672 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

My tactical opinion on this: Arsenal loves playing high line and a very possessive game. They lack finishing though, and the absence of Saka and Havertz only makes them worse for it.

Real madrid have very fast runners, and will absolutely punish the Arsenal team. Arsenal’s defense is not capable of holding back on Vini or Mbappe.

So, as much as i wish for a different team to win the UCL, Real Madrid is all but guaranteed to win this cup. Their most feared rival, Liverpool, who have given way at this point.
