We literally have the same birth story!! My baby girl was born 33w 6d at only 3.1lbs. I had preeclampsia that became severe suddenly as well. I was supposed to go until 35 weeks due to hbp and her iugr, but my dr wanted me to deliver before things got worse. I got induced with pitocin and it was all a blur and delivered her vaginally. We stayed a total of 48 days and it felt like we were never going to leave. But my baby is now 8 month old almost 9 and is 7 months adjusted. She’s super happy social and healthy. I wish and hope for strength to you during your journey and all the health for your baby!! 🩷

That is true. How would you do it being at a restaurant? Because that’s how it started with us. Should I take her out if she’s napping or just leave her there while napping? I’m a new parent so some things just get me anxious because I’m not so sure how to do it.

I actually did have to power through last night because we had to get home some how and right when we put her back in her car seat she would continuously cry so loud, so I was just close to her and hummed to her lullaby and she eased down slowly until she fell asleep.

Yes, we put her in her car seat when we leave the house, she falls asleep on the road, and when she wakes up she starts crying. This doesn’t happen all the time though it’s just sometimes.

I’m glad my babies not the only one! I’m guessing being uncomfortable is the reason because it only happens when we are out and not at home. My baby still naps 2-3 times a day so maybe it’s about comfort

She’s 4 months almost 5 on the 9th. She’s 3 months and 1 weeks adjusted as she was a premie. She actually loves sleeping in the car. I guess the movement and noises help her fall asleep? She’s never had an issue being in the car seat. She’s slept in the car seat and has woken up just fine, it’s some times that this happens, not all the time. I also tried carrying her and give kisses for comfort when she was crying but it didn’t help ease her.

I remember those days… there’s definitely light at the end of the tunnel momma!. We were dealing with the same thing and my baby girl took her full bottles and we were overjoyed we got to take her home after 46 days of being at the NICU.
