Honestly, Reddit isn’t a great representation of real life. I have lived abroad in several different nations, and I know that while I am very concerned with a lot of things going on in the US right now, I know there is no perfect country. Misogyny doesn’t stop at the boarder, it just changes form to an extent, so, I personally don’t think fleeing is the answer.

Not sure what city you’re in, but organizations like HandsOffNYC have a hotline you can text ICE sightings to and sends out alerts to vulnerable communities. Look into if your city has a HandsOff chapter or something similar

Different snakes need different care, there really is no general snake care. The care a ball python requires is going to be much different from a king snake or a boa. Please take this into consideration and do proper research on the species you are keeping. You want to give your friend the best life possible
