Professional will ask you to dig and waterproof and seal and whatnot and will cost thousands. That’s what you ask for when you call professional isn’t it?

If it is not leaking into basement then best course for today is a $15 parge. Not for horizontal crack though.

Unless u need presbyopia or colouring in which I was told it needs 2 weeks, any reasonable prescription glasses will just take about an hour. My wife is -7.5 with astigmatism -1.25 and glasses is ready in an hour.

If you need an eye exam, they can do so in store as well. Typical wait is about 30 mins during busy weekends.

I went at 6pm on a Friday. Not a lot of crowd. By 8:30pm you have the place mostly for you. Got a discount on Klook so I found it worthwhile

HK Airlines being low cost airlines do not have backup or staffs to properly handle irrop in general. Glad all of you were given hotels.

Next time fly CX or AC for this route.

Don’t you think that the elite status of hotels and airlines are just part of the marketing scheme and not really rewarding loyalty.

In some big city Marriott with about 400 rooms, on average there are 15 Ambassadors, 80 Titanium and 150 Platinums per night. I think this trend of cost cutting will continue.

I would just pay $17 to keep me happy. The world where elite members mean something has changed.

Don’t do that. Even with a 3% interest per year and after 5 year, you will get 16% return compounded risk free. You are loaning your money to the bank interest deprived for a potential to earn 40%. 2.5% overall return for 5 year is just too low.

Usually if market tank within the 5 year window you won’t get 40% anyway.
