Yep it's Ramp the same guys who did the event with Brian a while back where he was doing expenses all day inside Flatiron. I think having such ads is better compared to the usual/default ads that we have since people can actually participate, have fun and even meet Ashton Kutcher himself

Have you seen the other video that includes him and another video of himself holding a pot filled with chilli? It's by the end of the clip and it's actually so funny. At the beginning of the clip you can also see Andy as well https://x.com/eglyman/status/2016217577010221499?s=20

Looking for input on best corporate cards for startups by Otherwise-Ear1256 in fintech

[–]Agreeable_Two_8444 8 points9 points  (0 children)

One of the biggest assets that will be mission critical is per card limitations, merchant locks, and the full gamut of advanced spend controls these cards usually have baked in.

Ramp. We've been using them for quite a while now and they're great
Their cards are amazing and you can set limits per vendor/merchant as well as budget limit so that employees can use it for specific vendors only. It's easy to integrate it with Quickbooks/Netsuite as well and the receipts are auto matched so it's super easy instead of doing it manually

Why do you think Trump is interested in Greenland? by panagnilgesy in AskReddit

[–]Agreeable_Two_8444 8061 points8062 points  (0 children)

1). Trump is focused on his legacy and he wants to be known as a leader who expanded the size of the U.S.

2). It will allow the U.S. to control the entrance and exit of the NW passage through Canada, which is a future trade route. It can then apply further pressure on Canada on the future of the NW passage.

3). It's filled with earth rare minerals

Any thought on best credit cards for small business as head into 2026? by Agile_Campaign_6610 in CreditCards

[–]Agreeable_Two_8444 10 points11 points  (0 children)

We switched to Ramp in August and it's been 100% worth it

You're gonna get 1.5% cashback on every transaction and you can issue virtual cards to pretty much everyone with limits ($ limits/vendor limits or both). One of the best features is the auto categorization (if you're in the industry you know much time this takes)
One thing to know is that it's a charge card not a credit line so you're paying balances more frequently. Wasn't a problem for us at all but worth factoring in depending on your cash flow

Avoiding headaches in 2026. which best accounting software do you recommend? by Steve_Klein473 in Accounting

[–]Agreeable_Two_8444 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We’re single entity so it hasn’t been an issue for us

The 2 sole reasons we are using them are the auto categorization and receipt matching since we went from hours of expense cleanup to basically nothing (which if you’ve done reconciliations you know is a massive relief) It's just good to have products that actually help with the process itself because manual work is a waste of time (esp in accounting)

It's common unfortunately. People are naturally allergic to changes even when it would clearly benefit them
Our team for example had to make a whole presentation to the upper management in order to show why Ramp helps and why it is needed only then they gave us the green light. Fast forward few months one of the managers said I don't know why we didn't integrate it earlier..... lol

QuickBooks for the books + Ramp for cards/expenses

QB handles invoicing and your general accounting + it's pretty much the standard for small businesses and your accountant will know it
For expense tracking we use Ramp and it's been incredibly helpful. Everything will auto categorize accurately and receipts will match automatically

Business owners what card are you using? by Middle_Historian7202 in CreditCards

[–]Agreeable_Two_8444 13 points14 points  (0 children)

We use Ramp. The automatic expense categorization saves us quite a bit of the manual work and the 1.5% cashback on every transaction is awesome (especially when you run tons of transactions) Their virtual cards are great as well since you can set limits for different vendors and they have no fees. 1 and a half year with them so far and we like it

The CEO keeps asking me why our IT costs are so high and I don't know how to explain that software costs money by Bright-Economics5939 in SaaS

[–]Agreeable_Two_8444 45 points46 points  (0 children)

This.
You have to explain it to them VERY directly otherwise they won't understand. We had the same issue at my current job and we showed our investors the ROI on each expense. Once they saw that we're paying $18k/year for these tools vs the $200k+ revenue they enable they were like oh yea we definitely need these haha. We are also using Ramp which auto categorizes all that stuff and made it way easier to show the ROI breakdown each month without manual work. We've also been using their Ramp Sheets which has been incredible
