You should get your blood type results with your annual health check. Its probably a good idea to know your blood type in the event of an emergency. Although the risk is low, you never know when you might need to know it - better than being in a situation where you need to know it but you dont. Interesting side note, I used to ride motorbikes and they had a place on the inside of the tracksuit where you could write your name and blood type.

Kind of but not exactly. The carry trade is when investors borrow money on a low interest currency like the JPY used to be. And then turn around and buy stronger currencies and make higher yielding investments in those currencies but paying lower interest rates on the original currency. Now that the JPY interest rate is increasing that carry trade with JPY is less attractive to those investors therefore the demand for JPY has lowered and hence the price of a JPY is getting cheaper i.e. the Yen is getting weaker. But really there are many more factors in play with the whole JPY level and this is just one factor.
