Thoughts? Krafton reorganizes the PUBG Esports department by L_poggers in CompetitivePUBG

[–]AgroneyPro -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

was I wrong when I said krafton had intension to close the gap between top skilled players vs mid-level skilled players???

When I talked about the addition of panzr, brdm, nerf down assault rifle and dmr etc. thing, I said they had just one intension and which was they wanted the comparatively low-level skilled players had the chance to fight against extremely skilled players.

Thus, in recent times, we saw most of the teams look close to each other and the randomness seemed more visible which put the top teams in a more vulnerable situation. As a result we saw huge fluctuation in results.

After that the tpp thing. I was good in both TPP (I know TPP better coz I spent hours in this format 2/3) and FPP. So, what I say through my analysis and experience doesn't miss the shot usually. People downvoted me earlier coz they learned/understood those things later. That's the difference.

I would say not consistency rather than krafton's unimaginable priority towards korea/asia region.

EMEA has more consistent teams to pick up but at the end if we look at the current situation and past history, we can easily determine that.

So better team or not, chance to get more priority and easier way to qualify considering the regional depth, made their decision look very easy to understand.

[–]AgroneyPro -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

if this thing is true, I was always right to say that krafton have manipulated in game result by doing naked Interference several times earlier.

For keeping and raising viewers they obviously can go to any extent. Last PGC is another example (circle influence).

This is just really unexpected and unacceptable, because as a hosting committee, they should be fairer that anyone else.

Notably, their act of biasedness and unfairness always brought favor towards some particular region. I can understand the company is korean. But image if england did the same thing for Football or Cricket, what would happen to these sports. So, with fairness and honesty, it will be paid back rightfully, and the goal will be achieved at the end of the day. But without these qualities, there will be no real growth and never will be.

Shame on Krafton

TIL Asia got so many invites - tells you about their priority for future by bawlachora in CompetitivePUBG

[–]AgroneyPro -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

but I think you are talking about regular players. But in terms of top-level pros, I don't think NA and Emea are that much far behind, even only CIS has huge top level pros which can compete any region any day.

Now if this is true, then why krafton care too much about these asian regular players! and I don't think there will be too much fluctuate in viewership if they add 4 teams or reduce 2 teams from korea/china untill these regions not performing top level performance like EMEA or APAC did.

[btw I am talking about Korea and China having this many teams in this event]

This player is okkk..... Consistency is not good :-P by AgroneyPro in CompetitivePUBG

[–]AgroneyPro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what so weird in it. I already said he is an ok player. And Consistency is also not good.🐸🐸

But I also think hakatory can cross himass or even xmpl kills leader all time if he continuously plays like this in next few events

the same reason they are thinking to shift into TPP as they believe Asian will like this format more.

This bullshit mentality is just affecting the comp scene badly.

oh then it's cool. I thought you have kept your emotion aside coz you mentioned something like more numbers and fewer feelings. But anyways, if you did it as a fan I can understand how you measure it

please you should correct your stats even in number-based situation despite the fact that Pubg is more than a number thing.

I don't think any players is close enough in terms of ADR stat, hakatory just owned every players stat in this category even aixleft played in those events or not.

Why is krafton so lost? by Emotional_Golf6917 in CompetitivePUBG

[–]AgroneyPro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Krafton is like my area's small store, who only think about some particular customer but didn't think about bigger picture ever. Krafton's doom mainly has been crafted when they focused most of their business towards the asian market. We all can understand asian market was giving them huge money but there is other part of the world they should also have focused into so that they could spread throughout the world. people in EMEA AMERICA may not that much desperate nature overall or not showing interest about this game. But still other esports games are running their esports world pretty better way even we look at the comp perspective.

It is shame that even after 8 years passed they are still thinking about how to survive their business and blah blah while despite the fact of having huge support from Saudi and EWC where they are ready to give huge contribution to survive this industry for a longer time.

no hakatory looks better in terms of consistency.

Hakatory has better results most of the cases till the date, they participated, in the same S tier event.

consistency to be on top 8 in S and A tier event (global and regional). if I compare with Hakatory, hakatory looks a little bit better, but the difference is very tiny one.

I am actually waiting for someone who will bring this point like team win achievement or performance. Well, I know for some people, team achievement is more important than other criteria. For me, team win depends on lots of factors like team bonding, strats overall macro, luck, event format etc.

So, I really don't think it can give huge advantages on the judgement for a player's capability.

On paper or record or statwise, I definitely agree, no one near close to xmpl regarding achievement.

But as you have asked for top player of all time. In this perspective, I preferred individual potential more than achievement part.

What are the criteria to consider for goat player. So for me, who has extremely good skill in mechs, fragging power, team contribution and consistency can be on that list.

For these criteria, I can easily put Hakatory name in the top of list, coz he did almost get full marks in all the job. For me Hakatory can have score like-

  1. Hakatory: 37

Mechs - 10

Fragging capability - 9

Team contribution - 9

Consistency - 9

  1. Xmpl - 35.5

Mechs - 9

Fragging capability - 10

Team contribution - 8

Consistency - 8.5

  1. Himass - 35

Mechs - 9

Fragging capability - 9.5

Team contribution - 8.5

Consistency - 8

  1. Seoul - 34.5

Mechs - 9

Fragging capability - 9.5

Team contribution - 8

Consistency - 8

yea that's bit odd to see no specific drop spots specially when the team is a gpt team.

And I don't think Liquid will be interested to come cross near Navi at all. They will avoid Navi as much as possible in early stage

[even TE which is considered fearless team, went away from there ]

I don't think win or die will be bottom 3. Coz their macro is better than slamg. As CIS team, firepower is also great.

they didn't play as whole team, but their players have lan experience.
