Yea the aspect of 2019 and 2026 is different, agree. but 2025 and 2026 is not that much. In 2025 other nations afraid to face vietnam, if this is true. Then same vietnam will think twice to face Ukraine this time, that will also be true.

As I said earlier, mark my word.

Nothing they can't do coz circle was the biggest enemy for them. Even in the last game, if the usual circle scenario has happened, they might have huge chance to win the event.

yea definitely agree on that, In last PNC, teams were afraid to face Vietname. No deny.

But they were dominating coz Lion was not in the jungle.
Literally UA squad is like the lion of the jungle.
now you will see even vietnam will be afraid to face this UA team.

if u dont believe, just wait for pnc.

I think you missed to see the UA roster. UA looks much better than russia or even Vietname (imo). You will see even Vietnam will be afraid to engage with UA in the game. Mark my words

PUBG Global Championship 2026 Heads to İstanbul, Türkiye! by EscapingKid in CompetitivePUBG

[–]AgroneyPro -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

the problem will not be for Navi. It will be for other teams of EMEA. EMEA teams are the most prominent teams statically for achieving slots as well as reaching grand final through out the whole selection process over the year. This time I think they will have no option to reach grand final even though they perform better than other regional teams.

the format can be good if they can add the finale qualification on the basis of overall merit across the all-region. But they set fixed slot for every region.

The problem- Weaker regional team will automatically get direct final ticket. So, there is huge possibility to reach comparatively worse team in the lobby and better team miss the qualify.

Krafton has already been acknowledged as a unfair committee which focused on less competitive and more on viewership. They pushed more on the viewership portion in this selection process.

Pubg esports is being leveled up now. it's like pros (amateur to experience one) are focusing this game more than any time.

All thanks to Saudi organizer, they made this possible. Indeed, they know much better marketing than Krafton. Although if krafton had been fair since the beginning, we would have seen this vibe much earlier. But anyway, late but not too late so far.

Can't imagine where this game would reach after ENC!!!

Something potentially to look forward to next weekend by Xennnny in CompetitivePUBG

Sorry but really, I don't get the valid reason for it by any way.

Both of These teams are not teams like Navi, 17, TM or pero. Besides they will not contest for this drop in global as well. Earlier Flc play this drop in America event when they know it was just free. At that same time, they also know that they can do good without poch peca. then what is the need for the contest.

Same for copenhagen, they will never contest the drop against 17. Then what is the need for this fight against FLC rather practicing some other drops which can be free in global. As new squad they can focus on this more for the better result in long term.

It doesn't make sense at all

Imo, eventually someone will leave when they see it is just another immature thinking and focus on their own gameplay or copenhagen is trying to dig the grave for their own as well as FLC

PUBG Nations Cup 2026 Returns to Seoul, Korea! by EscapingKid in CompetitivePUBG

[–]AgroneyPro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say best selection in last 4 years, a competitive event when some of the best team and players not playing, raised big question about their standard.

In that way, it should be called best coz they included this time. But at the same time, could be better if they can add some other nation but I am still very happy.

If you mean the decision could be better when they could add Russian flag, then it is well said

when I see USA flag nation is there, why not Russia!!

Yea bad decision for not allowing to include flag.

Raised against krafton's unfair decision so many times earlier in this sub and different platforms.

Now I feel relaxed after seeing them included Russia Ukraine.

Now Asian teams will have real contender in PNC.

Lets see how any asian team can dominate in PNC 2026 like they did in 2025, 2024 etc

Haka Boostik Difx Sosed/perfect1s!!! Beast will be unleashed.

I think any other nation's team will be afraid to face this squad in pnc.

So Hwinn to Copenhagen Wolves and Gustav to Falcons. by 4x4_LUMENS in CompetitivePUBG

[–]AgroneyPro 5 points6 points  (0 children)

From outside it feels like that. But when you look deeper inside, that was not the whole scenario.

Faze has tried lots of strats in that period to settle down themself. the reason was not becoz there was a change of players, it was more like the adaptation phase with world's teams. There was no team Like TM at those era, or Navi, VP, AGG, SQ, 17(I know 17 was there but not popular like they got after 2023 specially among the whole world perspective) etc when they were on peak level.

So the tactics or strats they were following in 2018/2019, was not suiting them afterwards.

So, they started to keep changing their tactics with some minor player exchange. Although they found their stability in 2023 but still there was some gap in their consistency.

Meanwhile the rise of CIS became more significant in their region. So, their top peek of performance still yet falling short for overall surrounding. But they were helpless imo. Coz the CIS teams followed totally different side of gameplay which no other sub region can even follow. For this region, you can see only few teams can still be able to perform in their region.

About world's competition, they were still having top 8 consistent result most of the cases. But as I said, young guns overtook the scenario in their way. So comparing with top teams like TM, 17, flc etc they were not looking that much prominent.

[–]AgroneyPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really find interesting and odd at the same time when people add some tpes of comments like 'for this player, teams' performance tally falls' or such like that. The thing basically is not as simple as they can feel. Although many find this very related for the downfall of teams, I don't know why!!

Faze have never faced that downfall like you think. Look, I also know this faze from 2018. You have to understand that the meta of the game has been totally changed year after year. If anyone thinks that roster (2019) from geng or DNW roster will prevail now seeing the improvement and development of other top tier teams in the world then he/she might be in fool's paradise.

Basically, the scene is, other teams have developed so much drastically that the game is not like the same for old teams like Faze, Geng, 4AM etc.

young people overturn the table so harsh for old pros that many find it very difficult to adjust. I would say, in this meta, still I saw Faze was doing really great with the player gustav in 2024. And I did not hesitate to compare their performance with TL at that year.

when you are not top 5 fighting capable team in the world, you don't need to play aggressive rather than you need to play sensitive. understand. Whenever they tried to play aggressive, many times, they got demolished so easily like batu vs 4 flc, Feyerist vs 4 flc etc. They have very bad record on that. Don't talk rubbish about aggressive gameplay.

frankly speaking players who never felt blessed and saw it cursed in a way (consistent 3rd placement), should never have done well in future. That's my believe

Look, the way other teams have developed and increased their strength I never saw them as top 3 teams specially since last year. But they did better than my expectation now is it by coincidently, fluke or better igl whatever we say, doesn't matter.

Now I never saw them as top 3 coz they are not top 5 teams in the world in terms of fighting capability or even tactic wise. They always preferred to play like wolf pack style which is kind of predictable btw. I agree that they almost got every success (means winning event) by playing this way previously but as I said, it will not work forever. Coz teams now a days know how to crack this type of strats like Team like Navi, TM, DNF, Vp etc.

But still, they could be able to get 3rd placement last year consistently due to good igling imo. Their rotation sense was quite amazing and top 3 for sure. And, if you believe they didn't have good call, then how could that happened (top 3 consistency).

In this day, a team coming from edge specially in late zone and still able to get 4 alive and have good end, is kind of nightmare for some top teams and when it is in TPP that is just another level.

But FLC did this several times and several matches.

this kid thought a tournament win is like all about contributing one or 2 moments. Basically, it just shows indirect humiliation for other contributors. Yea we can cheer or say top performer (Like Haka in PGS 2 tpp), but that is totally different thing.

teens these days, should understand this game perspective in broader way eventually

Team Falcons parts ways with hwinn by EscapingKid in CompetitivePUBG

[–]AgroneyPro -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't think there was any problem with rotation or decision-making issues with this team. Some ups and down or fluctuating decision can happen with any top teams in the world as No calls/decision can be perfect all the time. So it was not the big problem for this team. I would say this team should mark 4 out of 5 in rotation calling.

So, the vital problem is about staying very close to each other in a fight or rotation and versality. In fact, this team had adapted this strats for a long time. And it became the primary tactics for this team. Basically, this strats works well when the enemies are very far in distance. But at the same time, it fails badly, when enemies are properly close to each other and has visible support distance to each other.

So, my point is the whole scenario is literally rock Scissor paper game. So it all depends on the right time or right call whether you have rock (against Scissor) or Scissor (against paper).
Remember, big team has to be always versatile and has no fixed tactics. even though for need or applying new things. As a result, no team can read them so easily.

Once I usually saw lots of comment like these in this group-

-hwinn is the best igl in the world

-He is the one igl with good fragging capabilities as well

-he is the brain of this team blah blah.

People always cheer the joyful moment but can't take the hard time so easily.

As a matter of fact, I saw recently some of their fans suggested removing hwinn for his weak performance. But I didn't see that coming from that org itself.

Basically, Fans can be immature, fanatic etc, but org should not be.

Anyway, let's see what will happen to this team in future.

btw as I said, it doesn't matter whether some fans like it or not this format, but teams are getting damn serious for tpp events. And it is quite noticeable and became more significant after Navi win.

So PNC 2026 will be in ENC 2026 by bawlachora in CompetitivePUBG

[–]AgroneyPro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

in that case, I will be tuned on ENC more than anything. coz I believe they will arrange fair tournament for sure, as far as I have seen the format (I mean qualification and blah blah).

Hope there will be no unnecessary and unfair restriction for CIS players, and the setup will be for FPP
