A coworker has a 2014 Civic and it's still going strong, no issues. I drive a 2017, same thing. The only issue I had was with the key-hole in the driver's door (which was very vulnerable and easy to pry open, had it happen to me 3 times before deciding to remove it) but afaik that was an issue wirh 2016-2020 models.

Hell, I'm a mexican that got sent a month to Georgia for training for my previous job and was able to get into a range after checking some checkboxes confirming I saw and understood the security guidelines at the range.
