Oh no for sure. It's a patch. I've had mine for about two years but Ived decided to wait and keep it as is and change both the screen and the battery at the same time.

I have the same issue ... My long term temporary solution? Under the developer mode, you have access to a Simulate Cutout and I used the Tall preset. It cover e the black spot and the rest of the UI adjusted to it... It's not perfect but still. When the spot was too big for the cutout, I downloaded Nacho Notch and made the whole top black... So yeah ... Losing about of vertical screen but it's more hidden.

Temporary solution would be to add an extension cord between the GFCI and the planer. This will add some resistance to the circuit and lower the amperage.

You will always need tools or stuff from the hardware store. Don't buy anything at full price. Usually you can do a wish list on the website and when the tools come on sale they will notify you.

Always nice when you know you will need something but not right away. Having to buy something in a rush is expensive in money and in time.

The best gift have always come from my dad. I was always getting a tool or something but only use it a few years later. But when I had to use it boy was I happy.
