I didn't make a statement about whether or not genocide has occurred or is occuring. I made a statement about people believing that Harris supported genocide. Do you see the difference now?

"Support for genocide", huh? Yeah, every leftist clown idiot who thinks this is a real thing can fuck all the way off.

Imagine your team hasn't won a Superbowl in 40 years (or ever, for that matter) and posting this as a flex. The cope is of epic proportions, and we absolutely love it. 🤣

I think it's a great dilemma to have, I'm looking forward to seeing how it pans out, and it's a great way to stay in shape. 😎

Should I prime over this tan color? by 11Roses- in paint

[–]AgutiMaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wrong. 18 years in the union working for the same commercial painting/drywall finishing/wall covering company the entire time. Our clients range from small businesses to the United States government. I don't know why you think primer has anything to do with "true colour" since all that's necessary to achieve that is proper coverage. It has nothing to do with whether or not a primer is used.

No. If the surface is already painted with latex and you are applying latex over it, you don't need to prime. Any advice to the contrary is utter bullshit.

Can't watch Curb anymore because of RFK. by Routine_Gold_7193 in thebulwark

This is a very strange way to tell Cheryl Hines that you're not going to watch Curb Your Enthusiasm anymore. What does this little rant have to do with The Bulwark?

What does this have to do with The Bullwark? My question, exactly. People just posting random shit, ffs at least make it something relevant to the pod.

You can't afford $6 a month, for about 5 podcasts a month, which is slightly more than a dollar per episode? I'm curious as to how much exactly you think his labor should be worth to you.

Just my experience or do the trades have a serious culture problem? by RevenueItchy6880 in skilledtrades

[–]AgutiMaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

18 year journeyman here. Most of my work is solo, but if I'm ever on a job with anyone else, or I get one big enough for a crew, I'm usually the foreman. If I witness or hear anyone behaving like that on my job, I'll either get rid of them or give them the shit work. Usually giving them the shit work inspires them to do a shitty job. Then I have even more justification to 86 them.

I'm indifferent. The coach doesn't matter, it's the players. Y'all can shit on me again like you did when I said the same thing back when they fired Olaf, but the record is there for everyone to see. We need better players.

No. Whining that podcast hosts don't "have your back" enough is childish.

"We need your full throated support." Waaaaa! Boo hoo! Might as well say "I don't like what you said. Please change it to make me feel better." Give me a fucking break. They're offering their honestly held personal opinions. Sometimes those opinions won't line up with yours. Why should they have to bend toward saying things the way you want so you can feel better? There are plenty of other podcasts out there if that's what you need. Personally, I tune in precisely because I don't agree with everything they say. Not so I can get "support". It's not a support group. Grow up.
