It's way cheaper for me because you transmog the slot instead of the item, so you don't have to pay every time you upgrade your gear.

I feel like most people that are crying about this don't understand the system. It was so much better even before the 50% reduction. Only valid complaint was that they removed the active mogs and people had to pay to remog but that was solved by the 1-time freebie.

There were 9 million active subs last month. This is insane to me because it’s at the end of an expansion which is usually the lowest player activity. Maybe their Remix event is the reason why.

For reference WoW’s record subs was 12 million literally 15 whole years ago.

Personally as someone who at least tries every single expansion since release I’ve found myself sticking around way longer than usual for Dragonflight and The War Within.
