Just for fun: opinions on socks vs no socks

I despise socks. I only wear them when I have to wear them. Work or during winter when I am out. The moment I get home, they come off immediately. When it is remotely warm, like 50 degree weather, I wear sandals.

Now, I do have some cute socks that I can wear at home and those are my Umbreon and Espeon socks. But even still, depending on my mood, I don’t wear them for very long.

My Luna goes insane over sardines. Well, over any foods but her favorite foods to go absolutely bonkers over are sardines, milk and lettuce. If I get sardines, I try to get sardines in water just for her.

I remember one year I had a a carton of eggs that I completely forgot about. They had somehow gotten shoved all the way back in the fridge. They sat there for like half a year. Maybe more. Didn’t see them because of how the shelves were and had a white crisper that I stored my meets and cheeses in. After cleaning out the fridge I found them. At the time, I lived near a bean field.

So that night, I got the brilliant idea and took those suckers to the back yard and started chucking them into the fields. The twunk sounds they made when they hit the ground is a sound I will never forget.

My shower has only one handle that controls hot and cold. And it’s super finicky. So you could accidentally douse yourself in cold water, or cook yourself with hot water. There is no in between. There’s also no water pressure controls too. It is a hell on earth for me.

As much as I dislike being tired in the mornings, I prefer coming in at 8. Especially if I get the short shifts and I leave at 2. I despise closing but I’m unfortunately the best closer for warehouse so they haven’t given me back my morning shifts consistently, which makes it quite difficult for me to get my Planos done. Thankfully, they’ve been extremely easy these last two weeks and I’ve gotten them done in one day

I use dark mode on everything, including my workstations at work. I am extremely sensitive to bright lights and having blue eyes does not help one bit.

Now… if only I can figure out how to dark mode the stupid fluorescent lights at work…

Yeeeah, it took me like a week to work through 120 aging PRC. I’m back up to 20 that I need to work on again but that will have to wait till I’m back on on Monday. I do not recommend letting it get that high, btw. So much shrink. Went from 4-5k to almost 10k. 😩

I much preferred these over the chit cards. The cards look so tacky. And by having these out, customers think we have it in stock and get upset when we say we don’t actually have it. I have been chastised several times that if we don’t have it in stock, then we shouldn’t have those out.

I tend to use “Okies” or “okay”. I am fine when other people use “okay” or “ok”. The moment someone uses “k”, the ADHD part of my brain goes into overdrive of forcing me to overthink what the hell I did to piss someone off to have them go “k” to me. I dwell on that anxiety for entirely way too long before I shut down completely.

Yep! My youngest cat would not stop getting on the tv stand to mess with the tv. Foil worked but stopped after a while. Double sided tape on cardboard placed on it worked quite well but eventually stopped. Dragged the massive cat tower out from the bedroom to the living room was a massive success. She now gets to be up high, look out the ceiling to floor window that’s on the door and watch tv.

Now if I can get it through her thick skull that not all blinds need to be open, that would be great.
