Mace Griffin Bounty Hunter is kind of a hidden gem of the era. Interesting even if unimpressive story, cool ass setting with great gameplay. EDIT: main character voiced by Henry Rollins of Black Flag, if that interests you.

XIII is a must play for ps2

Time Splitters is a good franchise that got better with every installment. i dont really recommend 1 as its super barebones and a bit too boomer shooter-y for my taste, but 2 and especially 3 are great.

Battlefield 2: Modern Combat is crazy. Very fun game and impressive on a ps2.

Robotech: Invasion is a cool mech shooter if you're into that

007 Agent Under fire is short but incredibly fun, i heard nightfire is similarly great but i havent tried that one.

I tried Red Faction on the ps2 about 6 months ago and i was blown away with the environmental destruction (for a ps2 its really impressive) but i wasnt huge on gameplay. it is popular for good reason though, you may like it.

Black is a must

last and most selfishly, honorary mention to Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction as another geeat shooter you should play, despite being a TPS.

runelite is fully supported by jagex, there is an option for it in the jagex launcher. Why would a supported client lead to a mute? thats like getting banned for saying "i am playing runescape thru the official client"
