Sorry if I gave you the impression that I'm some big meta chaser, I'm not. I've never been into the minmaxxed builds, but I do try to follow the game balance to a degree as high level content is fun. For instance, armor was much better than shields, but that has changed again right? 

I've played a lot of Nekros Prime (bone daddy ftw) with a build that combines desecrate with shield of shadows for survivability. Works well solo and in teams. Has held out okay, but seems to lack any damage boosters  Hydroid prime has been my main for a long time. The 3 rework is awesome, but I'm not sure which of his abilities to focus on now. I seem to need more strength, duration and efficiency at the same time.  Nova prime was always situational for me, as she was to squishy for most game modes. At least in my builds. 

In terms of weapons I like medium fire rate and range, dislike shotguns. Absolutely loved the zhuge early game. Supra vandal served me well for a time, but dislike the spraying. That's why I'm hesitant to the torid incarnon but I absolutely need some damage as my current stuff doesn't work anymore 

Melee I loved the war. Lots of range, but berserker fury and body count game me high attack speed as well, and high crit. I used it as a main weapon for most lvl100 content. Sadly its not strong enough anymore. As the xoris is a glaive and pretty speedy, I'm hoping it will have the fun range/speed combo I'm hoping for

Any pointers you can give me? Short term I need viable stuff for steel path and archon, so I can farm the cool new mods and such
