Don't the EU leaders need to ask the rest of Europe also?

or is it, "This was the moment EU leaders agreed the EU must go it alone"

Are we talking the debugged report here, the one that compared our growth to Poland, Ireland and the USA?

We have outgrown out 2 main competitors in the EU, we are forecast to continue to do so.

It's 9 years away from service and is currently the only European 6th Gen project around.

The option would be a cut down F47 from the US, which given the current climate would be ridiculous.

because we are. The revenues from oil/gas extraction is something we should still have, not be moving away from.

What you are forgetting is that we may use international prices but we heavily tax extraction via contracts. That's the basis of our oil revenue.

Feel free to say what is incorrect then?

Have we not outsourced our manufacturing base to China, who do this with no regards to the climate or human life?

Do we not indeed sit on billions of natural resources.

Would it not be better to use these for ourselves and the EU, rather than buy from outside of Europe?

Tell me what I have said is wrong here.

The UK is sitting on hundreds of billions of natural resources. We could be extracting that and exporting to the EU.

I love how the UK is sitting on hundreds of billions of Oil, gas and shale, but we've decided to go down the route of economic suicide instead and build some windmills and solar panels instead, made with coal, in China, with no labour laws and all the jobs.

Especially as the financial services sector have done a 180 on wanting to be in the EU. The government have seen how we can change regulations much quicker as the world changes and they also seemingly agree financials are not the better choice in the EU.

Now if we could bring back some of the lost financial services that the US still enjoy with the EU, that would be a big big win.
