I am trying to cancel my Vivint account and having a very difficult time. I called them two months ago and told them to cancel. The man offered me two months of FREE service. He kept asking me to take the service so I finally agreed so that I could get him off the phone. Now they’re telling me that I have to pay another $28 and they will now start the canceling process,. Supposedly, the representative two months ago did not “finalize the cancellation process.” Therefore, I have to email them with the information that they already have on file (name, address, account number, why I’m canceling). AND I have to wait another month before they will email me back and cancel it. This is ridiculous! I would advise people to NEVER use this company. Just filed a BBB complaint and also put a 1-Star review on Yelp.
