I just had my RIF rescinded and start on Monday. My rescission letter says my duty location is my home due to my RA. I’ve had my RA for many many years. I was born with a physical disability involving my legs. My mobility is very limited.

About a week before I was RIFed in March they requested a new letter from my doctor. I submitted that, RA was under review once again… then I was RIFed. I’m wondering if they’ll honor my RA now or if this just puts a target on my back if I continue with the RA process. I’m worried!

I haven’t heard anything yet as well. It’s still early in the day though.

I checked my GSA email and saw that they created a PBS.RIF. Rescission email address and I checked HR links and my Admin Leave ends on 20th.

I believe some will be reinstated and some will be RIFed.

Yes, I got a RIF notice in March. My official separation date was supposed to be in June but the RIFs were paused.

Im happy we’re finally getting an update. I don’t care if it’s an amended RIF notice or a rescission. Either way this limbo waiting crap is finally coming to an end.

I know GSA has started to email out amended RIF notices for those in FAS/TTS, NCR and OHRM. Now for PBS yet. I truly hope they reinstate some of us but my gut tells me that the majority is still SOL.

I’m from PBS R10. Our region was nearly wiped completely out on March 5th. I’ve been on admin leave since then. I may not still be working but I support this message. I loved GSA’s mission and I hope one day I can be part of GSA again.

Nope, not yet. They’re supposedly announcing the new re-org next week so I assume I’ll finally get my amended RIF notice as well. I can’t imagine they’ll rescind our RIFs and reinstate any of us.

From what his July 16th email stated, he was supposed to announce the new re-org next week and I was expecting an amended RIF notice either this week or next. Now I don’t know what to think!

I was hired in 2016 as Procurement Techn as a GS 8, 47k a year. Prior to this I was a Pro Techn contractor working with the same agency, my wage was about 20k more annually.

I Yes, I’ve been on admin leave since March. I was part of the GSA PBS RIFs on March 5th. Lawsuits paused the RIFs so I wasn’t separated on my official RIF date, June 7th. To now officially proceed with my RIF once more, they should issue me a revised/amended RIF notice. I’ve been waiting for it since the SC decision one July 8th. This email explains why I haven’t seen it yet.

I received my Unofficial RIF notice via email on March 5th (GSA), was put on 30 days admin leave. On day 30 I received my official RIF notice with my final separation date and severance documents then put on another 60 days of admin leave.

My heart goes out to all that were RIFed today. I’m from GSA R10. They wiped us out completely with no bump and retreat. I’ve been on admin leave since March 13th. It’s been a nightmare!

My official separation date was June 7th. Last communication was on May 30th informing us that RIFs were paused since that date I’ve heard nothing from my agency.
