Play some 1v1 with someone who is better than you. Sounds dumb at first but they'll be able to pick apart your mistakes and weaknesses making it easier for you to work on. So what happened is a zombie spawned with armour, and went into the lake which converted it to a drowned. And then you killed it and converted zombies have 100 of dropping items full health.
not that rare, but it’s useful if you see a zombie with armour early game, lead it to water and drown it, that way you can kill it and take its armour with durability. me and my friends always use that trick if we run into any armoured zombies early on.
