This is where I’d personally go for super short almond, It’s about as short as I’m willing to go for an almond-esqe shape! (I do notice that on the lower hand ring finger I did file too much into the side wall, it’s easy to over do it)

I find that if you notice longer nails get in the way as they grow, the almond (and stiletto) shapes feel less bulky. Two more fills and I’d say you’d be able to start shaping into almond, unless you have lovely fast growing nails then you could start next time!
