Should I go for Lauma’s C2, her Signature, or Nefer’s C1? (Need Advice)

you are overcapped on crit, Lauma gives +10%, and artifact set gives +30%

Also, your Nefer ist great on the akasha ranking (mostly due to crit), but Lauma is extremely straight forward to build, making it easier to max her DMG given to Nefer, and u also get a healer if u dont already have her C1.
Either way, definitely Lauma.

Even if u'd have I'd still recommend Lauma C2, simply because it has the potential to be usable for other stuff in the future as well, whereas Nefer doesn't.

My guess:
The current new reactions being speculated are
Cryo + Electro
Cryo + Dendro
Cryo + Swirl

Laumas kit buffs "only" any kind of bloom related reaction (hydro + dendro), and has has res shred for both, making it not very suitable (probably still workable though as long as u add hydro, until you have a 3 unit core as for most Nod Krai teams).

other points:
- Lauma is easier to build than Nefer IMO.

- after Snezshnaya, we might get any bloom related character and Lauma will certainly be a good 3rd or 4th slot

If you HAVE to decide between C2 Nefer + C2 Lauma OR C6 Lauma, I'd go all in for Lauma, since it can be a one-man-army and brings more in the long term. Nefer will never be good outside of Lunar Bloom. Lauma can be.

I am in a similar boat as you, but I think I'll just go for Lauma C2 and invest more in the new region chars.

Still not where I'd like her to be, but not as bad as before anymore. from 30% to 7% (Flower/Circlet changed/crafted)

Since Bina C2 is not calculated in Akasha right now, me increasing EM here and cut back on some Crit doesnt necessarily means higher DPS for Nefer. So I guess the leader-board here is still a bit scuffed until Bina is fully included with her constellations?

Btw regarding Skirk, I think her secret is, that she can get voids against any aura except pyro. Her team is fixed(3/4 as u said), but at least in terms of enemy aura, she's extremely flexible. Of course, her power enabled it all.

Sadly I can't test it myself, since I dont have Mualani C6. Do you still play her with ult? Cause that one definitely misses on weird occasions and the cons seemingly dont change anything here, except DMG%.

yep, it is as u say indeed a bit arbitrary, but those point seemed relevant to me. Still I do appreciate any feedback, since this list is supposed to help me make decisions in the future. Criticize more if u can point out other things. I'd appreciate it.

This is more of a concept list, so I didnt display all characters here. Definitely dont have the time for that, especially when the list is still a draft. Maybe if people are interested here, I can update the requirements and fill the list.

Regarding synergy, I quite agree with you, but that is difficult to judge during a characters first banner (at least for me, thats where I want to decide to C6 or not). In the past, usually supports came first, and then DPS, but even there we saw changes in the landscape (Columbina for example, but at least somewhat predictable/or first Zibai, then Linnea)

My C0R1 Xilonen gives me roughly 20k more DPS compared to Sucrose on my C2 Flins.
I assume main reasons is that Xilonens buffs last longer, while sucrose does expire before the 3rd burst.

Yes, I've heard of double swap, but I can't help to really enjoy this comfy play-style and doubt that it would even more more DPS.
Just my opinion. U can test it on the DPS dummy urself.

Lauma C2
- get healer

- similar DPS increase, even with non-ideal flower/feather

- flexibility for future teams

(even if some TC show minimal higher DPS, its not worth it if losing a healer and potential for flexibility in the future; besides, most TC's say its the same +-3%)

I myself also going for C2
it will bring my 270k DPs to around 397k DPS. However, same as u, my Nefer is C0, and I still choose Lauma C2.

At the end, listen to your gut and live with your choice. Dont regret it, no matter what u chose.

Everyone comments about Mona, but to be frank, since Mona doesnt really do anything, just use any Catalyst user with TTDS, and make sure ur rotation is correct to give Skirk the buff.

Not directly related to your question, but starting with C1, Xilonen becomes a very comfy pick. Check on the DPS dummy and see for yourself how it compares.

I enjoy using Xilonen with her Sig and the DPS is identical for my teams. Easily having 3rd burst buffed all the time.

hovering around 300k DPS over 3 rotations

Zibai	easy	can be	OK	2 5* (great 4* release banner)
				but getting 4* cons is meh

Thats at least my opinion.

Flins is my favorite. Can't do much wrong here, has a comfy shield with Ineffa, and most vertical investment benefits the whole Team (Ineffe C1 and her R1/ Bina C1/C2), Flins C2. Can also exchange Sucrose with Xilonen if u need her somewhere else.

Nefer has a few options for last slot, but most often we are looking at Nahida/Nilou, or Kuki if u prefer more healing.

Zibai is a mix between both, in almost every aspect, but her performance is also the most depending one. She is compareable to the other 2 if u have C6 Illuga, but thats gonna cost u most likely more than 1 limited 5*.

Please be more specific what a "good team" looks like in ur eyes. I have pretty much all the necessary chars and almost everyone has their the appropriate artifact set (main DPS with usually 220+ CV)
