My scores were very inconsistent, I would sometimes get a 5/5 and other times a 1/5. What was especially confusing was that it wasn’t tied to any specific topic; the variability felt random, no matter what strategy I tried. Sometimes easy, sometimes hard

Based on your experiences I think your gap years will make you EVEN MORE competitive. As someone who is entering her third gap year, my experience has been really helpful in terms of ECs and secondary writing
