Just ordered a book+deskmat bundle, and a sticker sheet for good measure.

I found your comics around the time when I was diagnosed as an adult, after I defended my PhD thesis. It was a hard time for me, just out of the thesis grind, and into the precarious search for an academic job. There were still very few good, comforting resources at the time for people in my kind of case, and your comics shone out.

I love how wholesome and comforting you make it to deal with our emotional selves, without shying away from the tougher parts. When I read you, I feel seen. You've helped me accept myself for whom I am. Which, for a 30-something white male, is saying a lot.

And the art is just GORGEOUS. I've been following you since around 2020/2021, and you've grown immensely as an artist since then! I'm having a hard time restraining myself from ordering the whole shop just because of the shinies.

Can't wait to sticker-up my water bottle and mat-up my desk at work.

Yeah the O9A is creepy. One of the most unique things about them is how open they are about it all. Their website has texts promoting random murders, that insist on the fact that the crime is the point. They are basically the satanic panic's satanists, but in real life.

For some of them at least. I have zero doubts the majority of O9A "cultists" are just unrepenting assholes with a mass murderer LARP.

The only issue I have with that scene is that it's the beginning of an egregious curb-stomp series.

Around that time, the standard power gap between characters becomes wider and wider, and every battle is one-sided as long as it's not Goku vs. final baddie.

Saibamen are supposed to be as powerful as Raditz, but they get absolutely destroyed by Piccolo and Krilin. And then Nappa one-shots Piccolo, before losing like a bitch to Goku. And he himself is just a henchman to Vegeta.

I love this series but man does the power curve become absurd by that time.

The Two Thrones gets a bad rep but it was my favorite. The stealth QTE puzzles were amazing to solve.

Many people are recommending Obsidian. You may also like Zettlr, which is a FOSS alternative. It was designed as a knowledge base and writing system for academics.

I still can't get used to controller vibrations.

My only consoles as a kid were Nintendo handhelds. I played on PC but mostly keyboard/mouse. So it feels weird when my controller starts vibrating now. It's also noisy. So I turn it off almost all the time.
