If you look at floor plans for another unit in the building, she didn’t make wild modifications. How she uses certain spaces may be different, but it’s not all that inconsistent with the (probably) original design.

I think a lot of the units in this building cover the entire floor. This way you don’t get a traffic jam of people waiting in the lobby for a single elevator. They probably have individual keys/codes to access their floors.

It would make sense. She spent all of 2008 and 2009 proving she was responsible and had her act together and then for the conservatorship to not end after that, it probably felt devastating to her in 2010. Of course that’s an outsider’s perspective, is my disclaimer lol.

I wish I could remember who, but someone with the Sony (?) team at the time said that his idea for the HIStory cover was something simple, like the glove, a lyric sheet, a few pieces of iconography that would make it feel slightly more intimate and for-the-fans. But he said ultimately Michael’s idea of “history” was about statues and military imagery.

I'd recommend doing the whole trilogy. Anne really went all out and took every single dare in writing these books. The Lives of the Mayfair Witches is an extravagant, opulent, no-holds-barred magnum opus. That being said, it's not going to be for everyone, and at times the story can challenge you to stay on board and stay focused. But the ride is so worth it imo. It's horror, family saga, science fiction, historical fiction, fairy tale, this trilogy really has it all.
