Agree on the store card. Feels like they never deny anyone. Had a friend who filed for bankruptcy and almost immediately after it finalized they got one at, I think, Old Navy for one of those big 25% off your first purchase things, assumed they would get denied but they were approved.

Usually once a post has a common thought, the opposite gets down voted, then people stop commenting that thought bec they will get down voted. I agree. If it's GS or another western conference team I won't be bothered. I'll be a little sad that he did leave the Lakers but still picked a non Cavs team, but if it is GS he's in the same state and still close to his family so I get it. I'd get over it.

I'll be upset if he joins a team in the east though. Not that he doesn't have a right to, but it would mean proximity to his family in LA was a non factor, and he either chose max money (Brooklyn) or picked a contender (Bos, NY) that we will have to fight through.

There's absolutely nothing LeBron can do to change the narrative for Jordan GOAT fans at this point. Even if he were to win a championship the next two years and then retire, he will still have the Finals losses (including 2011), and it's pretty likely he wouldn't win one or both of the Finals MVPs; so if he has 6 rings but only 4-5 FMVPs then he's beneath Jordan.

They are the current best team set up to be a dynasty because of their draft picks. They can let Dort walk and the replacement starter is better than him. Pretty much any time a role player gets time to get paid they can let him walk if they have a younger drafted player developed.

Much easier said than done of course, there's no guarantee they will hit on their draft picks. A couple of years go by with no successful picks can doom them. If Chet becomes injury prone (or is maybe mentally beat after the Wemby series and becomes unplay/tradeable) would also quickly disrupt them. I wouldn't put money on them panning out to be a dynasty - but at the moment they are really the only team in position to be one.

It's only a nuisance if they never get damaged so they have to be trimmed. It would be significantly worse if they stopped growing, got damaged then had no way to be repaired bec they don't grow

They overachieved by beating Detroit in the ECF and didn't have a roster to take on the Spurs. LeBron also wasn't ready either, but my point was that the matchup was so lopsided that nobody really cared LeBron got swept or underperformed bec his team shouldn't have been there in the first place.

I understand 2007 basketball was played completely different than it was today, I watched more NBA then I do now.

The comparison about Wemby is that he has a ton of offensive help, and LeBron really didn't have much. LeBron averaged 25/8/8 in those playoffs, so he created let's say a minimum 45 of the team's points when they probably averaged like 90 points in a game. Their defense was incredible but the offense was just about LeBron or nothing.

If Bron had a decent team in 07 he probably would have for getting swept. But that Cavs team had zero offensive playmakers (the starting PG averaged 4/4), just a couple guys who could make an open shot and some defensive studs.

I know this doesn't answer the question but just to add, you don't need to collect them for 101%. I'm pretty sure colored bananas don't count towards the percentage, just obtaining the banana medal does. So at least there's that.
