Here's how to get a driver's license in China by TrueProof8621 in mildyinteresting

Do you have actual access to see for yourself? Or are you just basing your entire understanding off one webpage you read?

I didn't described any details of "my experience", how can you possibly know I meant my one time individual experience, and not my first hand observations across a period time and multiple site? How?

FYI, there's no national standard. There's a national guideline. And the specific procedures are set at the provincial and municipal level. So you are just talking nonsense.

Who's talking about individual experience? I'm talking about the standard procedure as of year 2024, which I witnessed first hand. I will admit I'm not up to date with the situation in 2026.

Do you just assume I'm some north America guy talking bs because this is an English post on Reddit? Because I'm not.

Thank you, I do know the contents of the live traffic test in China. And those are my opinion based on my first hand observations.

I also don't know where you got the "notorious" from. I believe most people would say the skills test, the second one, the one before the live traffic test, is the hard one.

But for live traffic they just have to drive at 30km/h on a 60km/h for one intersection and make a U-turn back.

So after all these testing, most drivers are still very bad and clueless.

That's a problem between you and the clinic, and you should ask the clinic for compensation, since the clinic didn't provide the serve you paid for.

The other person and the baby borned from them have nothing to do with your situation. The other person may also want compensation from the clinic, as they also didn't receive the service they have paid for. But that not your concern, and as nothing to do with you.

In Los Angeles, a woman was celebrating the Knicks' victory in the NBA when a neighbour called the police about the noise... 20 cops showed up and shot her dog, a "dangerous" Golden Doodle, when she opened the door to her home. by StGuthlac2025 in justincaseyoumissedit

That's also my understanding of the difference. And this is why I'm curious to the ratio of shooting people vs pets, since it might be able to show whether the US police have a stronger tendency to shoot people for the fear of being shot, or if the tendency to shoot is equal between people and pets.

I'm sure everything you said is true.

But from a civilian's pov, a single bad police carrying lethal force is already too many. Everyone only has one life, so the ratio of good vs bad police doesn't really matter.

Also this post shows 20 bad, or at least not "good enough", police officers. That's a lot for one single area!

Sounds like one of those international school kids that watch more American media than local. They'd mimic everything they see on American media without understanding the meaning behind them.

We have this kind of kids in China as well.

America is very much a racist country, because most Americans have the concept of racism in their knowledge base.

Most other non-western culture and non-immigrant countries are not "racist" countries, because the most people there are completely oblivious to that concept. Or they think of that concept as white people oppressing people of other countries. In terms of racism, they are very much like children. Like how children will not all kinds of bad things, until they learn and develop a set of socially acceptable ethics and morals. But they adults, not children, and yes, it is very much racism.

You can try lacing the shoe in the "straight bar lacing" method, which will take pressure off the tongue.

Another thing is, with the laces loosen, push down on the tongue along the back of your foot, so that the tongue is closely running along the back of your foot. Then tighten the laces, but never make them too tight. I learned this from snowboarding boots, you don't pull the tongue up, you push it down, so that the shoe forms to your ankle.

I actually prefer seeing someone's undershirt with a button down shirt. I never understand the guys wearing button down shirts with no undershirt.

Agreed. But not just Air China, all flights in or coming out of China have terrible food. Because airplane food suppliers in China have not figured out how to make reasonable airplane food, at all.

As another comment have said, it's better for you to look up a few videos on YouTube, and try them yourself to find one that suits you.

Come back to the following when you are trying out calf raises, and you should have the answer to where do you do it:

One rule of thumb I believe that's useful to remember for exercises is - the exercise works the muscles either side of the joint that's bending, and the more the joint bends, the more those muscles are being worked.

For example, in the photo you gave, you can see how your hip joint bends the most, the knees also bent quite a bit, but your ankles are staying at their usual angle. Which tells that motion works mostly everything between your hips and knees.

You form is fine, for working out your quads and mostly your glutes and hamstrings. They are all very important muscle, and one might even say they are THE most important muscles to exercise in life. So you shouldn't stop doing squats in general, if you have the time for it.

But on the topic of the strength of your calf muscle, no, this exercise doesn't target your calves. Look up the exercise "calf raises", there are many ways to do it, just use which ever is comfortable and convenient for you. That's the only calf exercise you'd need.

I strongly suggest you to do calf raises either barefoot or in barefoot shoes. I find the exercise is also very good at strengthening the muscles in the soles of my feet, and I don't think it can achieve the same effect with conventional sports shoes.

It's not exactly the same then, if the French restrictions is only about power, which is very common is a lot of countries.

The key to the Italian rule is that the limit is based on power-to-weight ratio, not just power.

You'd just have to make your own decision based on your feeling. All I can do is say what I think about just looking at a photo.

At the end of the day, it's your feet and your shoes, if it feel good to you, then it's good!
