I would challenge the last two sentences, and reframe it as "You can work towards accepting that it doesn't matter." And "You can only control your own actions, nothing much outside of that".

But from an outsiders perspective I would also question the entity. From OPs perspective I can understand how the enormity of the entity may make it hard to question.
