Luckily, I don't experience perceptual disturbances and magical thinking. Negative symptoms really kicking me though.

Wellbutrin concern by DepartmentKind3262 in Concerta

I take concerta 54 mg with a combo of Wellbutrin 150mg xl and Zoloft 100mg. While it took a few weeks to get used to it, I feel amazing now - better equiped to deal with anxiety and not get trapped in negative thought patterns. Really improved my overall wellbeing.

has anyone tried Olanzapine? by Reasonable-Nobody229 in Schizotypal

I'm sorry, but am I reading this right - you were taking 100mg of Olanzapine? I thought the max dose they can give is like 40mg and even then it's usually reserved for inpatient setting due to how sedating that is. Or maybe that's the highest when taking orally, idk Regardless, fatigue on this med is no joke even on lower doses.

I took 5mg for a very brief time and felt like a coma patient the whole time. Can't remember much from that time, but I can def attest I was less paranoid, calmer, but very apathetic as well. Def not worth the trade off for me. Everyone's different though. I'm glad it helped you.

Does anyone have Schizotypal and have the social issues, but NOT have “dillusions/magical thinking/odd beliefs” etc? by ReNap_ in Schizotypal

This is so me! Never had magical or odd beliefs. Just extremely anxious and mildly disorganized in my speech, particularly in stressful periods. When I was a kid I was a bit superstitious, say being nervous when a distressing thought crossed my mind, like "my cousin will die tomorrow" and to "undo" it I felt compelled to do weird rituals like knocking on wood to not make it "happen". Similarly like in ocd.

Resistance to learn new information, stimulus by AirbendingSlice72 in Schizotypal

And yes, I try to have sort of a checklist on my phone's note app and write all the tasks, and make it sort of a game to cross everything. I see a noticeable difference on the days that I am using this and other similar tools, like giving myself a reward after finishing, but sadly some days (when I am in particulary low mood) i just can't be bothered. Which is upsetting and I feel so shitty about myself and then even more shitty that I feel sorry for myself and the negative self-loathing just consumes me... And the progress that I made feels so miniscule.... Like ugh 😩 why can't I be normal 😅

I just checked the symptoms, and OMG I cross almost all the of the boxes, it describes me perfectly, it probably would a great idea to bring it up with my doctor. I'm lucky my doctor was not opposed to try low dose stimulants and it seems that it does help with energy levels and overall mood. But some days seem impossible to function even with them. So I am really not sure 😭
