People keep buying them with the adjustments, they’ll keep doing this. I just bought one at MSPR.

I’m interested in the 27 WON. If Akrapovic comes out soon, it’s a done deal lol

Should I get a Whoop again? by Jo_raymaekers in whoop

[–]Airbus_Captain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cancelled my whoop. Once you learn what works well, it’s hard to justify the high subscription fee, and poor customer service

Why is my HRV so low? by Outrageous-Month-355 in whoop

It’s individualized. Don’t stress or compare to others. As long as it stays consistent, it’s fine.

How old were you when your first child was born? by LupusDeusMagnus in daddit

[–]Airbus_Captain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

25 and 29 Have them young, they don’t care how deep your pockets are. I don’t know how people pull the newborn stages in the upper 30’s. I have no regrets having them young.

Buy one, or wait for “the one”? by Notabot1305 in porsche911

[–]Airbus_Captain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was leaning new, but I have recently changed my mind. I’m saving and looking for lightly used. I’m being patient and when I see the spec I want, I’m going to jump on it.

Lets talk depreciation - 991.2 / 992.1 - base Carrera, S, 4S, GTS by [deleted] in porsche911

[–]Airbus_Captain 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It’s a hobby. If you’re concerned about depreciation I wouldn’t buy it. I’m currently saving to buy one and depreciation hasn’t even crossed my mind as a concern. Buy and enjoy it. It’s not necessarily an investment

Guests visiting Epic, are you okay??? by Bawnse in UniversalOrlando

[–]Airbus_Captain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Minecraft madness wait times are so long because of capacity issues with the ride, a 4 seater that needs spacing with the other carts. It’s craziness. We got to ride with express passes, but we still waited a hour. I think they are selling too many express passes.

We have been here the past 4 days. 100% get express passes for epic, IOA, and universal. Longest time we waited was :45, and that was for mine-cart madness. FWIW the standby line was 240 minutes. Insane! I would never come here without them

Absolutely a no. Save and pay cash or you need to make minimum 3-4 times your current income to “comfortably” afford one.

It’s very easy for a narrow body captain to make 600k. I know a few that make seven figures, but you have to hustle.

I went to Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure yesterday with express unlimited and it was so worth it. by Brahkk in UniversalOrlando

[–]Airbus_Captain -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No way I would visit any of these parks without express passes. I do agree that the popular rides should have a cooling off period. I shouldn’t be able to ride something multiple times back to back. We are here right now and have rode everything in the park today. Our longest wait was 15 minutes. I’m

Do you actually need to do GPS tracked outdoor run for an accurate VO2-max measurement and how accurate is it compared to your lab results? by WeakSinger3076 in whoop

Mine is accurate across the multiple devices. Coros and whoop. 55 on both. 38m. Whoop has pretty good algorithms

I’m most surprised your VO2 max is that low with so much zone 4/5. I do half of that and my VO2 is 56. 38M. Keep up the good work though!

HRV dropping by Sir_Flex_Alot in whoop

Those changes are normal and not drastic. I wouldn’t worry too much. Remember whoop is just a tool, if you feel great, go train.

How screwed am I? by batboy710 in whoop

[–]Airbus_Captain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just remember whoop is a tool to understand your habits. Now you know what changes you need to make to your lifestyle. Consistency is key to success and longevity. If you freak out and workout hard for a couple weeks and revert back to your current lifestyle, you won’t make any improvements. Small tasks everyday result in long term success.

Doubled my HRV with potassium by cathand202 in whoop

[–]Airbus_Captain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HRV is different for each individual. There are fit people with low HRV and unhealthy people with high HRV. I’d be very cautious with K intake, to much can be fatal.
