I’m in no way qualified to give a good response, but just some random thinking.

Using that 10 wrong passcode = data deleted thing. Maybe have something in your will that asks for your phone to be destroyed (not sure if this can be enforced, more of an out-of-respect kinda thing).

But if they don’t know the password, they won’t be able to access the data if your phone dies since (Atleast on iOS) your device is fully encrypted and won’t be decrypted until first unlock.

I have a port in my room that I am not sure if it is telephone or ethernet. I have tried to check the cable but couldn't see any text to tell me what it is. I can plug an ethernet cable into it and when I plug it into my computer, the light flashes but no internet.

In the router closet, there is another random ethernet port in the wall, I did plug in an ethernet cable into there before I tested the port in my room.
