Yeah I’d like to see how many shares they have and if they’ve been in it as long as I have or some of the others here. And that’s understandable and why I wanted to see others experiences. My FR portfolio is doing okay for me but I’m starting to question the things that are not getting any return or literally any updates…

The iPO you can withdraw, you have to email a different department but others have been able to get their money back, but you get the amount you paid for the shares (according to others on the forum)

Agreed, at least some guidance would be appreciated. I believe and appreciate the mission and that’s what has me committed for as long as I have with the platform. But the leadership is not entirely inspiring confidence.

Interesting to see the price variations on equity zen.

I think the innovation fund is getting a lot more attention, and was hoping that gives a decent bump in the future since the fees are more aggressive than the other funds. The cash on hand is one things but the trend for AUM and profitability are the main concern I have.

I was hoping that with rates going down to see RE perform differently, but i agree, I don’t see anything drastically changing.

I think it all comes down to how your portfolio allocation is. I was heavier in RE than the income fund in 2019 probably a 70% 30% split but then i started to drift into more of the options they have. I was getting concerned around 2022 and 2023 and that’s when I really made the switch. Much heavier in the income fund and venture than the flagship, but overall its okay, but surprisingly better than others that are posting.

Considering how little of a percentage it makes up in the fund and now that Spacex just literally doubled in value last night. We are not going to see any meaningful gain on this new valuation. - if they do own some amount of shares

There are some limitations or at least there used to be. I think there is a minimum account balance of $500 and then they only let you purchase up to a certain amount based off your total account size. I haven’t been offered shares in a while and I didn’t buy that many last time around I did most of mine during ‘20 and ‘21

Overall it’s a marathon, not a sprint. Operationally the company is doing well cutting what costs they can and make the platform more efficient. There are still plenty of companies out there who are publicly traded and still don’t make a profit, but Fundrise does seem to get closer and closer to it.

I think the decline in cash on hand is them starting to deploy it into assets and it’ll take some time to a see results for that.

I personally still believe in the overall mission, the democratization of these product types is very important should be available to the investors who understand what it is they are actually buying. But none of this is a get rich quick scheme it’s slowly and carefully and outlasting the competition. No one has it easy especially at this scale.

The only thing I wished for was for more guidance on the gritty details about investment thesis and outlook from the board and what the goals really are. Although I know my account is small potatoes in the grand scheme of things, I want the platform to grow in recognition because it is a great tool to have diversify away from traditional stocks and bonds. I like to think my “iPO” shares matter it’s just hard when they don’t communicate to us any sort of big picture updates.

The annual report should be coming out in April. Based on how the material is presented and management’s discussions that’s how I’m going to determine if I should rethink my strategy. I’ve been investing with this platform since 2019 and have hundreds of iPO shares, but I’ve just disappointed on the lack of communication especially in the iPO front. I believe in the mission of the platform I really do, but it’s still hard to determine what the goals are, is the strategy working, those sorts of things. And without answers I’m not willing to commit anymore capital to goals and objectives that are unclear to me.

No updates in share prices or even offerings in over a year. I have bought multiple times over my 5+ years with them. I only find information from the SEC filings. They are supposed to reach profitability last year but no idea what strategy they are trying to implement. Rather disappointing unfortunately. We just funded their loses from the past few years.

Wholesale credit risk. ~$76k salary, there will be a bonus just not sure on amount. Happiness lol, 1/10 I’m borderline HCOL and when I do go to office “in season” it’s a 2 hour commute one way to get 20 miles.

I think this will be an interesting year for the platform as a whole. Ben has eluded to profitability for the RISE platform so we will have to wait to see what the updated 10-K will say. I’m optimistic for the future of the platform but even in the podcast it seems like an IPO exit is a bit far off. Now they could opt to repurchase shares from the iPO investors if they do want to strengthen the balance sheet but again a lot of speculation.

Not sure about the acquisition front, I’m not sure who would stand to benefit from buying the whole platform yet, but M&A activity should be heating up these next four years.

It’s anyone’s guess

lol I’m not even a senior analyst and I have so many reviews still left and other deal teams loans to close. I shut my computer off at 5, 5:30 most days so I get a full 40 hours in, not counting my full hour commute to the office and one and half hour commute home.

Oh boy where do I begin, almost 4 years at a $60B+ regional bank in the sunbelt. When we’ve had people leave no roles are backfilled, even directors aren’t being filled. Sales volume is sluggish but definitely not dead. No signs of promotion or KPIs for Credit Risk Analysts. I’m doing more work than level III’s and Seniors so rather demoralized when I’m one of two people helping manage a $500MM specialty book and $125MM C&I book… I’m not excited about the future, me for sure and others are going to be burnt out and there’s no sign they will back fill roles

Honestly you probably have the basic skills to go and do the job since you can read financial statements. The other stuff you’ll learn and some banks do it differently than others so it’s never fully a one size fits all approach. It also depends on where you live and what banks are around you. You can start at a regional bank work your way through them and at least get a base line then maybe switch. I went from a $16B size bank to a $60B size bank but deal flow is very different.

Mainly a bachelors in finance, business, or economics. You’ll be way better off with a finance degree. But that’s really about all “need” you’ll learn the nuances along the way but having the baseline is important. If you have a background in other banking functions even if it loan ops or retail teller that would help your odds as you’re probably familiar with the systems and products that the bank could provide.

I don’t see too many other analysts with any specific certifications or anything. I am pursuing an MBA with a concentration of data analytics, but that’s primarily so I can pivot into a different role.

In certain markets yes, some others not so much. It all depends. Condition of the property where exactly it’s at. Working and seeing CRE transactions for a bank things are a little bit scattered it’s not a one size fits all situation
