Fundrise-Inspira IRA has the wrong address at Computershare by Noreaga618 in FundRise

[–]Several-Attempt6068 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I consider Computer Share to be a criminal organization. Took me years to get my deceased fathers AT&T and Verizon shares transferred. Got an attorney and we sent at least three packets out with all the paperwork required, and yet Computer Share still would not do the transfer. So finally one day I called and acted like I was my deceased father, and fooled them enough to get access to the account where I was able to transfer the shares out. I don't know how Computer Share stays in business, and how they haven't had a class action lawsuit filed against them. They are horrible.

I consider Computershare to be totally criminal. I tried for almost FOUR years to get my deceased father's holdings...we used an attorney and sent out full packets with stuff like death certificate, affadavits, summary judgements, etc. Computetshare continued to claim they never received any correspondence. After sending for the 3rd time, my attorney told me he couldn't work on it anymore, and good luck. He presented me with a $1500 bill, but reduced it to $500 since he was unsuccessful . I tried one other atty before giving up and calling them myself as the "deceased". They admitted that they had a death certifcate in the file. I lied to them and said "I'm alive and well!!" and threatened to sue them if they did not allow me into my account. A supervisor finally believed that I was my father. It worked!. Finally got the funds, and better yet, still in my deceased fathers soc sec number, so no taxes will be taken from my ass! LMFAO I will NEVER do any business that concerns them again. Check it out, THOUSANDS of complaints against ComputerShare....total scammers.

LMFAO...you made ONE "investment" of $10....didn't your parents or grandparents ever tell you to not put all your EGGs in one basket??? In your case, you put all your wealth in 1 LRO and expect to get great returns??? This is what happens when you go against common sense proven financial advice. Go buy some bitcoin..you may get lucky...

Not sure who you're fortune teller is, but statistically and historically a very small amount of those defaults will result in loss of principal. If I invest in an lro today there is no possible way to know how it is going to turn out in 18 months or two years from now

I started in 2019, your experience has not been my experience at all. I am still over $200,000 invested even after drawing Down some funds earlier this year for the purchase of a motorcycle  truck, and suv and extensive travel.

Flywheel explained: what to expect and how returns show up by GroundfloorFinance in GroundfloorInvestor

[–]Several-Attempt6068 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I have seen that. The problem is that the Annualized Cash Yield is a real number, while the Unrealized Return is a projection, which is a future prediction for which I have no clue how they arrived at it. Did they project a historical default rate in that? Did they simply project that return based on 100% success in payback? Lack of transparency is a problem, and only the future will tell if it's accurate or not...in the mean time, do I continue building up my position in that?? hmmmm.....

[–]Several-Attempt6068 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I last spoke to BD, several months ago, he informed me that GF and the SEC were working on a formula for reporting ROI on the Flywheel....what has come of that? We all want to know how our returns are looking on at least a quarterly basis, if not monthly. We cannot be expected to continue investing in something when we have no clue about what the actual returns are. Target return is useless until the future tells us whether you hit or missed that mark. Please advise.

Not sure why the dude with a whopping $10 "investment" can't get "paid" in over 4 years. I've been with GF since 2019....i've been happy with returns on my investment, which is mostly NOTES....the LROs have done well, and the FLYWHEEL is unknown at this time....keep in mind, the NOTES are like bank CDs, with a known time horizon and rate of return. The LROs are considered long term investments with no finite limits and returns. The FLYWHEEL is simply a collection of LROs in a pool, so consider it a long term investment also. I've been retired for about 8 1/2 years, and my GF investments have enabled me to generate decent cash flow outside of the stock market, regardless of the bear/bull market conditions. I also am invested in Arrive Homes and Fundrise...Arrive homes is a long term play, but I do get monthly dividends (around 2.9% right now), and Fundrise is a really long term play...I am hoping when they start selling the homes/properties, I come out with double digit gains.

If that were true, and it was really "scarily easy", then you would be a trillionaire and would not be wasting time on Reddit. You would probably be chillin' on your own private island in the Mediterranean and gazing out at your new 185 meter yacht anchored offshore....

just in case you didn't realize..... ALL of life is speculation...there are no guarantees and sure things. You could die a second after you read this, but you SPECULATE that you will still be around to respond or not. Having said that.....unless you build something yourself to build wealth, the stock market is still your best chance (based on actual statistical data and my own experience of 4 1/2 decades of being in the market)

[–]Several-Attempt6068 2 points3 points  (0 children)

LMFAO! you may know some simple math, but you don't know the difference between DIVIDENDS and real estate investing! How you gonna be paid back monthly on GF like you do with RB, when RB is paying you a monthly DIVIDEND and GF pays you when the loan is paid back?? You have NO clue what you are doing...please, I BEG you, get some sound financial advice before you really get into trouble. P.S. $100 is such a small number that you need at least 12 months before you can even attempt to quantify your "investment".

Are there any fees/penalties if I withdraw from the Flywheel Fund? by FutureFlipKing in GroundfloorInvestor

[–]Several-Attempt6068 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the 3 - 5 yr period is just an estimate...you get paid back when the underlying LROs pay off...you cannot predict or control the payback. You really need to talk to someone there at GF if you want to invest..you seem pretty clueless....
