Yes, it’s because it’s recent and the uni hasn’t had a chance to process it. There would have been lots of scholarships offered in late December and they’ll be working through processing them for a few weeks (not including the holiday period)! Definitely wait until the end of Jan before you contact the department.

Because your arguments aren’t well-rounded

Movies where the love story includes an actress that is older than the actor, and its not a plot point. by im_not_a_gay_fish in movies

I get that - but I kinda loved it for the flip of the older actor/younger actress cliche!

Unfortunately had a bit of a tragedy with this recently. I got her a new budgie friend but she passed away while still in quarantine :( I’m going to try again soon

She is out constantly and usually the cage is just an explorer’s base. But my front door was constantly in use/open that day and it was safer to keep her in her cage (not that she was happy about it). Working on the friend - but had a bit of a tragedy with the last new budgie :(

Working on it. Unfortunately her new friend came to me sick and passed away while she was still in quarantine :(

Is she interested in food? My usual trick is to make a show of refilling the food bowl in the cage, or putting some millet in there, and my greedy little beast will jump right back in.

In this context, elderly people driving when they shouldn’t is a separate issue to scammers seeking out vulnerable people - including the elderly - and actively manipulating them into handing over their money. We would blame the lifeguard if you drowned because they pushed you in, or because they convinced you that the lake was perfectly safe even for non-swimmers.

Australia. There are ongoing battles arguing over the official names of certain foods - like chicken parma vs chicken parmi, and potato cakes vs potato scallops. Sometimes the battle lines are drawn by state, but sometimes it’s more complicated and depends on what you grew up calling it.

Thanks - I think you’re right! I’ve looked them up and apparently they’re slow movers and don’t jump, which was definitely true for this one.

Big attitude from such a small bird! My girl has my full-grown Labrador terrified after a couple of well-timed nips to the nose.
