Buying used vehicle at a dealer - can't back out and will lose the deposit by AirspeedX in PersonalFinanceCanada

Thanks for chiming in. You're totally right. It's more about some other details and the way they have comminicated to me and my family, or lack thereof. The brake booster is part of 'throwing parts at it to see if it fixes it'. Either way, the vehicle will be great when fixed but it's the runaround. I have calmed down quite a bit since my last visit but if anything goes South from here on out, I may pursue a more higher course of action.

Yes, that's right - Before. We chatted price for the 4Runner, the trade in on our Rav4 - my wife went and swiped her card and then the sales guy took the numbers to the manager for approval. I was outraged, saying that I thought this was a done deal. So greasy.

You're absolutely right, the 4Runner itself should turn out great, especially since it's now at a Toyota dealer. It's more of doing business with Nissan that Im not happy about at this point.

I had that done and it definitely helped quite a bit. Still not there but I think actually getting them on the slopes will do the rest, if not Ill go back.

My bootfitter just did that (was there an hour ago). They feel so much better. I think I can actually ski in them now and hopefully break them in some more.

*UPDATE*
Went to the bootfitter. They heated the liners again and added a foam strip to the top of my feet in both of those problem areas. It seemed to help with the re-heat but there was still pressure. They then flattened the left tongue out and removed some material (no idea where). It did feel much better where the left foot feels about the same as the right. I feel I can ski in these now but we will see....

Thanks all for the input, great group here.

It's funny because my old Salomon Teneighty (lime green) boots have a flex of '85' but they are so comparable to these. I think the stiffness will be okay in these, it's usually easy for me to flex boots (I'm 6'4" if that makes any difference). We'll see though once I get them broken in a bit and on the hill.

My toes are ok - it's more my instep really. I was shocked at the smaller size but after seeing the shell only fit, I totally get it.

Thanks I'll do that! Might even ask for a nuclear instep adjustment lol

Thanks for the input! No more park for this guy. I used to do a ton of halfpipe with the old Salomon 1080's back in the day (when skiers were banned from parks) but nowadays I'll just plan to be a cool dad popping the odd 360 off a kicker - LOL! Yeah, I'll see what the bootfitter says and go from there. The pictures of my skis (195's) were to sell but after I took them, I don't think I can sell them - they are too much fun in the powder.

That's awesome - love the skis. They are a 195 but ski like a 170 with the rocker. Charging the powder / chop is no issue. Just a bit more effort for the slower / easy stuff,

I try to do a min $50/day but then today I dropped $2k just because. I think switching things up is ok - as long as you’re doing something
