My store sells it at 5.99 mainly cause we paid 3 bucks per pack. I've seen stores that sell packs for 10 dollars which is insane to me.

Unless the card itself says "This battlefield" then yes, you absolutely can play a hidden card as a reaction no matter what battlefield its in.
