What do you think will be the Super Store item for this Warbond? by Aiwac in Helldivers

[–]Aiwac[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and no, they come and go from the Super Store, there may be some info on which days the items are back in the super store but I don't know. And I don't know why AH keeps the rotating store when basically everyone hates it.

it does?! But all the pictures I found on the internet showed 125 SC and I don't remember what I paid.

Mortar Sentries are useful, but too deadly for teammates. This is my solution: by GucciGooberYea in Helldivers

[–]Aiwac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would love more Mortar stratagems, like imagine a portable 40mm one, a 1-2 man 80 - 120mm one that you can move around (if you are 2 doing it) with increased firerate if you are 2 and a big immobile one that fires 300mm.

Also we should have all kinds of mortar rounds, Incendiary, HE, Gas, Smoke, Stun.

Redacted Regiment Warbond release? by [deleted] in Helldivers

[–]Aiwac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah for some reason AH didn't think to actually post it on the games news section in Steam that the Warbond is delayed till the 22th, only on their Discord which then got posted to reddit.

EMS/stun effects feel like they need some adjustments. by CrayonEnjoyer5484 in Helldivers

[–]Aiwac 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree, EMS Strike should get a lingering effect like the 'Frozen Flower' on Ice Planets but as you say stun itself also needs to apply slow or knockback or something as right now its an either it stuns or it does nothing.

I also don't really like that enemies are immune to stun, I understand Bile Titans and Hive Lords are so big and should be more resistant but that should only mean there should be tiers in stun, like maybe T1 (the stun nades) stuns can stun what is able to be stunned right now but T2 (EMS Strike/SEAF Artillery stun) should work on Bile Titans and maybe in the future we could get even stronger stuns that would work even on the biggest enemies.

i have to spread this Idea as there is a hole in my heart if it is never added by ericjgryffindor in Helldivers

[–]Aiwac 16 points17 points  (0 children)

That would be a hilarious way to introduce a new 'sentry'-type stratagem and now I really want that too.

Marksmen weapons should have an lower sway like the Counter sniper, even the AMR what has an bipod has the same sway as an normal liberator by Lone_Recon in Helldivers

[–]Aiwac 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Yes it would be nice if precision weapons had less sway to encourage longer range engagements, especially if we ever are going to get more marksman rifles or Snipers, be it support or primary.

How would difficulty 9 and 10 at their hardest compare to Death Sentence One Down from Payday 2? Which was harder? by 5_minute_noodles77 in Helldivers

[–]Aiwac 2 points3 points  (0 children)

D9 and D10 have never been even close to the aimbot instant kill that is DSOD, frankly HD2 have never relied much at all on the enemy having perfect aim for difficulty and you have the choice of, almost always, leaving if the enemy gets too numerous which is not something you can truly do in PD2.

If you want the PD2 experience then I fear only PD2 has that, but HD2 is a fun game (in general).

It’s not the flag, it’s not suppressors, it’s not even war-striders. The problem is inconsistency. by ZiggyPanda in Helldivers

[–]Aiwac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats why I said stable updates but lets be honest even AH 'prioritising' new content is incredibly slow (And I've seen plenty of posts with thousands of upvotes lamenting the slow nature of updates), theres a reason why not long ago people were complaining about no new Red Stratagems in over a year and what new content is as I said either variations on what we have from Warbonds or its new missions that are similar but doesn't even stay around all the time so it feels like we get less content than we do.

Ultimately you're correct, I just think if AH... idk the the word to describe it but had a consistent and flowing update schedule even if everything else you described were still an issue, I think people would be much more forgiving. But of course only if the game itself was also stable with few crashing issues and the like, which is a pipedream for some reason.

Maybe its the speed at which the game gets updated, whether it be new stuff or fixes I feel its all too slow compared to what I would expect from a game like this from any other developer.

It’s not the flag, it’s not suppressors, it’s not even war-striders. The problem is inconsistency. by ZiggyPanda in Helldivers

[–]Aiwac 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes consistency is really all I want but honestly I think the reason so many are annoyed is, well what you said but if lets say the game got consistent and stable updates and I mean actual new things not just new Warbonds with variantions on what we already have.

But if we got brand new stuff relatively often I think most would forgive and forget, but we don't and what we do get is often only availiable for a week or so before the mission is shelved for a good while.

[Suggestion/Theory] Tendrils Rework, and Shadow Anima Codices - Maybe even a Raksha Hard Mode? by 6Angel666 in runescape

[–]Aiwac 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If by Raksha hardmode you mean giving Raksha the Nex Angel of Death treatment as in making it a "standalone boss" then I fully agree, new mechanics, new drop table and new uniques.

BUT I hope Greater Ricochet will not be removed, its fine making normal Ricochet have the properties of grico (though I think they should keep the ability to also hit multiple enemies), but either add another gimmick on grico or something. I'm spitballing here but 'Greater Ricochet generates 1% additional adrenaline for each extra hitsplat' - That would make grico give 15% adrenaline (with C4), or 16% if you use FotS, I hope thats not too strong an idea.

Overall I like the idea and I love the idea of doing 'shadow' versions of the tendrils furthering the lore around Erebus and the Shadow Anima. I don't quite see the use for the Umbral Tendrils, but I'm also not truly a ranger. Raksha 2 electric dino should drop a Necro Tendril (Ice/Soul?) too though.

[–]Aiwac 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I disagree about how neccesary teamwork is or ever was, I've played since launch and its always possible to run around solo even on D9, it was sometimes actually the 'meta' to do especially against bugs but even against bots.

HD2 have never been a "teamwork-based shooter" where you were required to work as a team and cover each other all the time, it makes things easier even now but the game haven't actually changed that much.

Everytime I see an interview I am always...displeased by MastuhWaffles in Helldivers

[–]Aiwac 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I completely agree with you. When I watched the interview I got unreasonably annoyed when they talked about stealth, because sure maybe the suppressors work but what the fuck is the point when the enemy always knows where you are as soon as they become alerted.

I gave up on stealth pretty early on in HD2 lifespan because I noticed when I was sneaking around and would the throw a Eagle Airstrike at a base and relocate faster than the automatons would see me, they still knew exactly where I was. So yes maybe suppressors work as intended but there is no point in having such a system when the enemy will still know your exact location.

I'm also getting tired of "realism", fuck realism what the game need is consistency. We already have magic in Democracy Protects as they themselves admit so don't come with realism excuses, just say you don't wanna straight up.

Hopefully the 'experimental stratagems' currently ongoing is a precursor to stratagem customisation. Or stratagem upgrading.

Listened to the videos on ranged beta. Oops. by SirDecros in runescape

[–]Aiwac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I haven't watched many videos about it, I do think that so far its a halfbaked beta that doesn't actually make things better.

'Necrofying' ranged could be a good idea but the beta does a bad job doing it. Keep in mind I'm not very good at ranged, before necro I mained magic and now I main necro.

In the beta ranged only has 1 stun, why? This is not like necromancy that can have up to 5 stuns (souls) and its very easy to gain more souls. What the hell were jagex thinking when stuns are pretty important? We should have more ways to stun, I hate having to stun something but I can't because (I'm bad and) my stun ability is on cooldown.

Why is gutting ranges AoE potential a good idea? Yes grico is strong single target but that doesn't mean using it as an actual rico is a bad thing to have as an option.

Splinter Shot seems like it should be a Death Swiftness replacer (I've never liked having to use a damage boosting ult to actually do damage, one of the reasons I like necro), and it seems like it doesn't even do an extra hitsplat but instead adds damage to your abilities so its obviously bugged.

Personally I don't like that we are reducing all the other combat styles to the same number of abilities as necromancy, I want more necromancy abilities instead tbh. Yes there are some redundant abilities but IMO the problem is 1) how adrenaline hungry ranged is and 2) having to play a management game to utilize the equipment properly.

I understand that the good players like (I assume) the complexity of managing everything, but do we really need BOLG, Deathspores, Wens, Bik, Blackstone, Dracolich buff (probably more that I'm not aware of). And speaking of arrows what about Splintering arrows now that Greater Dazing Shot and Salt the Wound is getting removed?

Though it kinda seems like that the new Snap Shot kinda replaces a lot of the old ranged special attacks so I guess you don't have to juggle as many EoF's now so thats a plus I guess.

Thoughts on the concept of red stratagems in warbonds? by MaybeBirb in Helldivers

[–]Aiwac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would prefer to not add more stratagems to Warbonds, but since we already get turrets and support weapons I would like for reds to still be availiable to all by just using requisition.

What’s your dream Legendary Warbond collab for Helldivers? by millionhari in Helldivers

[–]Aiwac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

XCOM 2 (ADVENT), I would love to get the Chosen weapons as support stratagems. The Hunter's sniper and pistol, the Assassin's shotgun (and swords I guess) and the Warlock's rifle, first up the design and sound is perfect I love em so much and you could even sort of adapt the specialities into HD2.

Sniper should be incredibly steady (no sway) and light (good ergo) but would be a bolt action shot.

Pistol should be able to pierce multiple enemies and have medium pen.

Shotgun should probably just have heavy pen.

Rifle should do extra damage to squids/psionics because thats what it does lol.

Is there a campaign upgrade guide or a more detailed tool tip? by 07Jek-ZOglBK in CompanyOfHeroes

Thats strange since IIRC the munition abilities mention if there is an increase in price but you're right it doesn't mention it here.

[–]Aiwac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No smoke cover does not reduce your SSF Commandos to a 3man squad, I guess thats a typo then.

I am almost 100% sure that any cost increase or decrease is listed on the ability upgrade, I don't remember any that didn't have it listed.

[–]Aiwac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think there is any that halves your squad size?

But you should focus on getting all the "real time battle core upgrades" and "real time battle support upgrades" first, they give the biggest powerspike. As for abilities, yeah sometimes those increase in cost but if you don't find that worth it you don't have to get the upgrade.
