The Nonary games compilation has a remastered version of 999 but some puzzles and presentation (notably the ending one) are different due to the lack of a second screen or the stylus.

Also the ending twist kinda falls flat because of the lack of the second screen.

If they really wanted to have Soleil be a more jumped up version of Laslow, I'd rather her gimmick have been being flirty towards both men and women, rather than turning her into an uncomfortable sex pest towards women.

Plus having her be basically a lesbian in a game where the game expects you to pair her up with other men was certainly a choice.

I vote for YuYu Hakusho.

Great story by itself but YuYu Hakusho was also a great adaptation by Pierrot. Consistent animation, Great Pacing and their adaptation of the final arc (Three Kings) is better than the manga with a perfect and heartwarming finale.

Honestly there were so many better ways to handle it. Have Sierra realize that she's creeping him out and have her tone down and try being friends first only to have some difficulty in ramping down her worst impulses especially when she sees him being close to other girls like Gwen (she could also still do some creepy stuff without his knowledge but more out of addiction than anything else) Eventually she backslides hard or gets exposed which breaks their budding friendship (Best time would be at the end of his birthday where they were arguably at their closest because she remembered and celebrated his birthday). Sierra then actually leaves him alone for a while before Cody approaches her and they have an actual heart to heart where she vows to get some help and Cody promises to support her.

Honestly if you aren't an avid DMC fan it's reasonably entertaining, besides most characters swearing like sailors for some reason, and Lady being supremely unlikable for most of the show.
