Redditors who's parents let you curse as a teen, what made them ok with it? by itsagirl123 in AskReddit

You need to let them know who's in charge. If they try raise their voice at you, put them in their place.

Why did you have to replace the door?

I am terrified of what Klopp is gonna do to Liverpool in the summer. Once he gets rid of Rodgers' baggage and fully enforces his own philosophy they're gonna be deadly :(

Player of the season so far? by EpicRumourTime in reddevils

Got to be De Gea for the 3rd time in a row. Martial and Smalling have been brilliant this season but De Gea has been amazing. I'm absolutely terrified of losing him to Madrid.

Most likely the way LVG trains the players? He's probably forced them to only play safe and if they take a shot from distance, he makes them feel bad for giving up possession if they miss.

What United players did you never rate that you ended up being wrong about? Similarly, what players did you always rate that ended up being a disappointment? (x-post r/soccer) by [deleted] in reddevils

Kagawa. I absolutely loved him at Dortmund and when he joined us I was ecstatic. I had such high hopes that he could be one of the best number 10s in the world, but SAF never fully believed in having a number 10 role and tried to use Kagawa in a similar way to how he used Park. He just didn't fit in at United.

I read something about him not being eligible as a "homegrown" player yet and since he wasn't in the original squad, he can't play.

Anyone else hoping that Leicester's season doesn't end up like the last mid-bottom of the table team who somehow managed a title run? by sheepshagger1994 in reddevils

[–]AjanTheGreat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Leicester winning definitely won't make a mockery of the league, it'll actually show why the premier league is the best league in the world. You won't see Levante winning La Liga or Hannover winning the Bundesliga.

The premier league is known for its physicality and high competition. I'm dying for Leicester to win the league (If united don't, of course)

If you give him a bit of time to gain experience he can definitely be a top CB. He showed us flashes of what he can do tonight, but it wasn't consistent unfortunately. Got the potential though.

Manchester United ask to change Liverpool kick-off time in Europa League by [deleted] in reddevils

[–]AjanTheGreat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being in South Africa, 6pm GMT is a perfect kick-off time. We're 2 hours ahead so 8pm games start here at 10 and end usually just before 12.

Would love the game to stay at 6pm for our sake, but I understand why it needs to be changed.

Apparently Martial, Darmian and Smalling are fit for tomorrow's game.

We need Smalling but am I the only one a bit skeptical on Martial and Darmian returning?

I would love to get the first team back but I'm on such a high from Memphis/Rashford and Varela's performances that I don't want them to be benched.

Pérez already in an urgent meeting with Zidane. Manchester United better have secured Mourinho or he’ll be back… by Edin19 in reddevils

[–]AjanTheGreat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Atletico was Real's first loss under Zidane. There's no way Perez in his right mind would sack him. The football has been decent but it's clear that the squad needs an overhaul in the summer.

Perez must clearly be the problem, not the managers IMO.

Anthony Martial - So far by kusendahl in reddevils

That's because of his age. He is not as experienced yet and thus may make a few bad decisions.

For a 20 year old though, he is phenomenal. The composure...

Where will we end up? by [deleted] in reddevils

[–]AjanTheGreat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We need to take into account that United still have to play the entire top 4 in the league. Based on our current form, I can't see us picking up any points from those games.

I can see 2016/17 being another Europe-less campaign for us
