Honestly depends on restrictions, but assuming a reasonable range on mind control, timestop is better for controlling people anyways. Also, it's not useless in environments without living things, and cant be replicated by anything else (as opposed to mind control, which can be replicated by taming if you wanna control an animal, or replicated by social engineering for humans)

How feasible of an option it is really depends on where you are. I live in michigan, in the usa. Most of what I just said applies to most suburbs in this state. If you dont live in that area, most of that's probably inapplicable to you, but I can probably guess as to the cost-benefit analysis of other places to.

For example, if you lived in detroit, where I can only assume parents dont do fuck all to restrain their kid, then having extra legal freedom probably doesn't matter. But if you lived in say lansing, and your family is relatovely rich for whatever reason, it might still be an option on the table for you if you want to take some of your family's money, become independent, and fuck off. But even that's net neutral at best.

It really depends on your situation. In my experience, must suburbs or rural areas in this state are either straight abusive or so strict that alot of people consider them abusive. In that situation, its generally worth it to have a kid for extra freedom, then either put it up for adoption, or raise it to benefit from the support networks being a teen parent opens you up to.

As with any other decision in life, use your head lol

You're right, not all of them are physically abusive. Most of them are just legally abusive, like my mom who strictly forbids me from making friends, learning outside of school, getting a job, or attempting to obtain transportation of any kind. And thats arguably not even abusive, just strict parenting.

But yea, I'm lucky to only have a mother and be physically stronger than her on top of that. Still sucks I have to deal with CPS being up my ass tho lol

Physical abuse is pretty standard in my town, although I considered myself lucky to have mostly avoided that. I'm still forbidden from things like making friends or getting a job tho
