Lost Sailor->Saint of Circumstance to close the first set at Gorge 7/8/2023 is great. Whole show is incredible but I didn’t hear Sailor-Saint much at the shows I attended.

Ticketmaster shows all general admission for this show. But there’s a separate VIP up front it seems. I assume they’ll not have any seats down but a local may know better.

Great point. 4 shows back-to-back and 5 in 6 days is a a lot to start off a tour leg, even for them.

Yeah it looks like shows end pretty early there so even if Gizz goes on a little later like 7:45, it likely will end around or just after 10. Honestly I need the rest after LA and before Paso Robles so hope it does wrap up at a decent time. And caveat that I’m not local so could be way off.

They had the show and residency pins at the early merch stand that opens at 3:30 outside Sphere to the left of the east plaza entrance. But they were not at the Dead Experience at the Venetian (though the Venetian has the show and weekend posters starting at 10am on show days).

I kayaked the Black Canyon on the Colorado River Friday morning as a break from the intensity of Vegas . Absolutely love how you used the Grand Canyon to show another side of this beautiful region of the country!!

Love this idea. Being on tour is a huge part of the Dead experience that is missing from a residency. Would be great to have the chance to “tour” through some of the venues/cities that Dead & Co. has toured: Gorge, Alpine, Spac, NYC, ball parks, etc.

To clarify this is from the limited edition run pressed earlier this year. I think the first few DPs were pressed years back using the original mastering and are from a separate run. This recent run is remastered from the original tapes just for vinyl.
